Over a few pre match pints in the Beehive today our resident stato announced that since we moved to the new stadium we have scored 995 league goals at home .The top goal scorer being Boothy. He has obviously got too much time on his hands to come up with that one. Who will get the 1000th?

We've just used up our one penalty for the season At home it will need to be a stabbing at a set piece for us to get a pen. An obvious stabbing at that😉

Straight in from a corner? Maybe if we'd kept Connor Mahoney

Straight in from a corner? Think there's been two of those at the ground, one from Chris Waddle for Bradford and one from Antony Pilkington.

Pilkington never did it, so far as I am aware. But Reece James and Emyr Huws did in the same season. Alex Kaciniglic (awful spelling, I’m afraid, but I’m working on memory) did it for Fulham in that surreal 2-0 defeat to them under Powell, when we managed 31 shots, missed 2 penalties, and they scored without shooting, hit the post with their first shot, and scored with their second.

Who will get the 1000th? BOJAN, breaks away from out muscling two giant center backs, chasing his own flick on, beats covering full back for speed and chipping into top corner Cantona style. UTT.

The Waddle one was in the 3-3 draw wasn't it...where that lad Davies on loan from Man.United held on to the post and stood the wrong side of the net. Just watched it sail into the top corner. Bizarre.
