Quite a way off yet I know (20th December), but is anyone considering driving down to Cambridge and might have a spare seat coming back afterwards?
I can get down there by train easily enough from Pudsey, but the trains/coaches afterwards are either way too expensive or the connections are too tight to make.
If anyone is able to drop me off either at Waterloo or in town, I can spend the night at my mum and dad's then get the train home the next day. Will obviously pay for my share of the petrol.
Thanks.

Yes and I live in Pudsey, send me a PM and I'm sure we can sort something out.

I am thinking of going to this game and spend the night down there in somewhere like, St Ives or Huntingdon. Cambridge might be a bit steep to stay in at Christmas.

My daughters birthday on 20th so I'll be in Stowmarket anyway that day and normally stay over, either the 19th or the 20th Let's see if I can get a ticket first....

I've got a room booked in a Travelodge that's walkable to the ground for £46 on a refundable rate. Parking is extra but I can do that for about £8.50 tops. Bearing in mind it's the last Friday before Christmas I booked it as soon as the game was moved.

Would have been better if on the saturday but as I will be coming from Norwich can still do it by train. Still unsure why it got changed, reasons quoted not convincing me.

Presumably to give a bit of extra rest before the busy Christmas schedule with 3 games in 7 days.

Yes you are right, not sure what the hell I was rambling on about. It was omething about us having a less stressful Christmas by playing an evening earlier! That is what stuck in my mind. What with Sky, International breaks half the seasons fixtures get buggared about one way or another.
