No one else wish we could get Sorba back?
Would be perfect as RWB in this Micheal Duff season.

I fear these lot exploiting the huge gaps in the wingback areas with a more direct approach. I hope we can turn that shithouse Parkinson over, though.

Tough one this but don’t see why not winnable . Imagine we’ll go with the intent to be strong and hit on counter. Not sure we’ll count on Turton to do 180 in 3 days so Spencer wing back . Also wouldn’t shock me if we bring Evans in for wiles but I think other than Spencer we’ll be unchanged
Chapman
Spencer lees Pearson lonwijk Miller
Kane Kasumu Wiles
Marshall Radulovic
2-0 Town - Wiles and Radulovic

Obviously, we'd all hope for a Town win, but I think our fragility will show through against a better side....again.
With luck, we might scrape a one sided draw.
Mid-table, at best.

Think they’ll try pin us in our own half with long balls. Someone else mentioned above trying to exploit the space behind the wing backs of ours, the setup has changed slightly hasn’t it to try counteract that, extra deep lying midfielder and the wing backs starting position generally 10 yards deeper than it was early season. I know it was any away game but they only had 34% possession at Rotherham Saturday and Rotherham had nearly 500 passes in the game,Rotherham hardly a passing possession team either. If they pin us back in our half it may end up being fairly even possession wise.

Wrexham have played six games already identical to Town so far this season, away at Peterborough (W 2-0), Birmingham (L 3-1), Rotherham (W 1-0), Bolton (D 0-0) & home to Shrewsbury (W 3-0), Northampton (W 4-1).
Also played Stevenage away (L 1-0) & Reading home (W 3-0), points from those games for Wrexham is 16/Town 12......Only team in L1 with a 100% home record after Mansfield lost Saturday, bookies give Town a 17/10 chance.

Assuming Sorensen isn't going to be fit, I'd play Spencer as RWB. He played LWB for Northern Ireland last week and looked decent. You could argue for playing Hogg over Kane for that extra defensive coverage. We need to ensure we aren't going to get caught out with their ball over the top to Mullin. ---------CHAPMAN---------- --- PEARSON - LEES - LONWIJK SPENCER - HOGG - KASUMU - MILLER ----------WILES---------- ---RADULOVIC----MARSHALL---- That midfield suddenly looks shit with Hogg back in. American referee Alex Chilowicz takes charge tomorrow night at the Racecourse.......Oversaw the 4-0 demolition of Bolton in September, only Town booking that day was captain Hogg.

Wrexham are definitely more of an old style team, built on "up and at 'em" football. Should be a good game for Pearson and Lees. Might be worth having one of Ward or Ladapo on the pitch as well to help out the set piece defending.
Having seen both teams play against Birmingham, Wrexham are nothing to be afraid of. There's definitely a chance of 3 points if we are switched on from the start.

Play with a front two with Palmer a massive target for the long ball with Mullin running off him. Going to be a tough night for Lees and Pearson. As with Birmingham games, Sky will be building them up to be what they are not. They are an effective lower league team but I think we have enough to beat them.

Main question, is Ryan Reynolds aware that Sir Paddy (Prof X) is a massive Town fan?

We seem very flakey at times. We are talking about a team with back to back promotion who have lost just 3 home games in that period (Tamworth very similar), two of those defeats have come this year against teams who sold out the away end, Br4dford in Feb & Tranmere in March (both 0-1)........PC at 2pm with Chapman & Duff, question for Jacob, can you teach the rest of the squad how to pass a ball?

American ref, just what we need against Ryan Reynolds FC. To nullify this advantage, I think we should sell our club to an American. Oh 🤭😀

Wrexham fan here.
Without wanting to jinx us, we're usually 'at it' in home games.
Don't think we're arrogant, we know tomorrow will be a very tough game, we're under no illusions about that and we know that we're not the big hitters in this league. We're just happy to be back where we belong in League one.
No idea how you play. We tend to do well against possession based teams, we're organised and we'll pounce on mistakes. We now have Mullin back and he's our danger man. He's a massive sh!thouse as I'm sure you're aware and he'll be an absolute pest all game.
Last time I saw this fixture was at your ground in 2004 and I think we won 1-2...Chris Armstrong scored a penalty.

Whilst we’re not a Bolton,Peterborough or Birmingham possession wise most games the onus has been on us to dictate the game. We will try play out a large amount of the time but recently they e mixed it up too when required, that has to be into feet or down the sides though as we’ve not much aerial ability up top despite Bojan being 6 foot 3 ish maybe. We’ve hit a small patch of form but judging by what you say you’re good at it’s virtually a clash of styles and will come down to who can stamp theirs on the game most. Matty Pearson particularly could enjoy the battle with mullin he doesn’t take much shit. Potential for a tight game

How's Chris Maxwell getting on? He started his career with us and was excellent for the short period he was here.

Never really let anyone down when he’s been called upon.just he’s no2 to Nicholls and when Nicholls got injured the other week Maxwell had an illness and the young chapman has taken his chance.
