Yes araucaria , I can't make Tamworth due to a prior commitment, so we'll be celebrating 155 together at Crawley. I count places like Liversedge & Ossett for my grounds not visited with Town, though they're probably the lowest. I'd count places like Penistone Church too

There’s a decent supporters bar called REDZ where away fans are welcome and there are usually a few decent eateries outside (fresh stone-baked pizza etc) so see you there?

Scunthorpe, Macclesfield, Kidderminster, Yeovil & Torquay.......Maybe others? Town youngsters are in FA Youth cup action at Salford City tomorrow, another one to tick off if you are that side of the Pennines. The only one I can see missing is Bradford Park Avenue. Does the West Riding Cup count as a competitive match? I saw us beat Park Avenue 6-2 there, when Frank scored a hat-trick and we lost 2-1 to Leeds there in a WRC Final, in 1970, I think. BPA have beaten us in league and cup more than we've beaten them - all early 20th century except the League Cup - Bradford Park Avenue 3 Town 1 in September 1962 - our goal Chris Balderstone (our most recent scorer against Liverpool as well) and the attendance 6,931. #nocuprunsforusthankyou. Edit: just seen that andyeastleake referenced the 1962 game above. So andy, can I count the West Riding Cup? Personally (and I don't claim anything official about my own criteria - far from it each to there own and I'd never suggest cheating) I wouldn't count the West Riding Cup but if you're old enough I'd count the 1962 game. TBF I might show an interest in the position under my rules (if only to find out if anyone has reached the 150 I believe is possible since I've been supporting the club). I've not seen anyone say they'd managed it. Interesting fact about Chris Balderstone. PS Anyway the only person whose view counted (& still counts) decided the number of grounds anyone EVER went to didn't matter a jot. All that was relevant was the £104 per annum. PPS The only time I think current ground or not would be relevant is in relation to the "92 grounds". Given the 92 is changing continually (well at least annually) I think to consider it completed you'd have to have visited the current 92 grounds at the point you've completed it.

My system is simple. Every ground I've seen Town play at. Currently 154. Soon to be 155 🤞🏻 Also visited a further 14 grounds where I haven't seen Town play. Purely out of interest, what is the count for grounds played competitive fixtures since 1970? I've never seen anyone claim the 150 I believe is the maximum.

I don't know personally, but there are some nuances. For example, when a ground is redeveloped. My own approach is 'did the club move out?' So Bournemouth, where the ground was demolished & rebuilt in a slightly different position counts a two separate Dean Courts for me; but Stamford Bridge just one as it was done stand by stand without Chelsea ever leaving. There are a few 'Trigger's Broom/Ship of Theseus' grounds like that.

There is some serious away support on here , showing years of dedication. Think I am at 72 of the current 92. 90 plus grounds with the grounds which have dropped out of the league. Hope to complete the 92 one day , but most of mine to do are in L2 and have no desire to go back there. Mansfield , Northampton will be ticked off this season , and hopefully Charlton. Planning a trip to Barrow this season , but not to watch Town .

I think you're very generous counting Bournemouth twice. Have you counted Wembley twice too? Club Grounds I still have to do are Crawley, Barrow, Bromley, Newport, Salford New grounds I still have to do are Brentford, Cardiff, Shrewsbury, AFC Wimbledon, Morecombe

I want to get there one day! I think you’ll enjoy Crawley actually, it’s not a great stadium but it’s a decent little set up overall. No way should Bournemouth be considered as two separate grounds.

I've actually been to Crawley, but it wasn't to see Town, so I don't count it in my list of grounds I've seen Town at. I used to be a season ticket holder with London Broncos and they once played one of their home matches there (same with Newport, saw Broncos play there). That said it was over 20 years ago so the place has probably changed beyond recognition. I suppose there a case for saying Wembley and Tottenham could both be counted as being two grounds (before & after) but I don't.

Great article. I try track my grounds using www.footballgroundmap.com. I’m currently on 135 different grounds watching Town (friendlies included) and have done 82 of the current 92. Hopefully I will add Crawley and Shrewsburys new ground (had to miss the league cup game there) to the list by the end of the season.

Spurs is a completely different stadium and no one would argue with that but part of the stadium was built on white hart lane . I didn’t realise Bournemouth rebuilt AND swapped the pitch 90 degrees . Went to the ground long time ago when it had an open terrace for the away end behind the goal. Gonna after consider crossing that one off now , bit harsh though hmmmm. ( buggar )

I don't count Chelsea because it was redeveloped whilst the team continued to play there. Ditto Bournemouth; the club left Dean Court & a brand new ground was built from scratch.
I just checked my list & the only other one I can find where a new ground more or less stands on the site of a previous one is The Valley. Anyway, using the Deep Space counting technique, my current tally is:
I've seen Town on 83/92 (against the team that plays there)
I've visited 88/92 clubs Seen Town play on 134 different grounds (that would be 133 if you discount Old Trafford as a neutral & 130 if I ignore rebuilt grounds).
Visited about 25 other grounds not watching Town.
My wife likes to point out to me that we'd probably live in a bigger house if I didn't follow Town so please can we keep this information between ourselves.

The 64 million dollar question 'how much have you spent watching Town over the years (aka-that pile of shit, says the other half). Probably a lot more than some & a lot less than others is the best answer......If someone put the exact figure in front of me I would likely keel over clutching my chest, too scary for Halloween.

Which go sale this morning for game on Nov 9th (great prices for fans), but still no sign of Tamworth tickets which is in 10 days time.......If you go the JSS for tickets looks like you will have two trips to make this week, unless you risk waiting? When was this announced? Didn't see a tweet or email but have been checking each day (when I remember (which I did today)). Did they skip the Blue & White Foundation only period? Mansfield away (1700 allocation) on sale from 10am this morning........Just seen latest tweet.
