All explained on the Drive In episode of And He Takes That Chance. Has it ever been addressed why Matt's mic regularly drops out for a few seconds before it comes back on. Really irritating and something you would think would have been resolved by now They're not professionals maybe his mic is faulty but can't afford a new one offer to get him one if you're so arsed

I blame the director of football.

I think Duff puts Wiles name first on the team sheet .......Only league game he didn't start was Reading away. Is Wiles very slowly getting better every game? Might just be me clutching at straws. He's consistently inconsistent, which can be said for the team as a whole to be honest. I thought he was appalling on Tuesday.

I can see current momentum getting us over the line for this one and a clean sheet to go with it. Lonwijk was in front of me in B&m's yesterday and appeared to be getting a shit load of moving in stuff with girlfriend. His performances have been a bit hit and miss for me. I wonder if him settling will impact his game and bring about some consistency.

one of the most random and weird nicknames for a football club.... Anyone know why they are known The Grecians Do they have some connection with Greece or was their founder from Greece as in like people from Dundee are Dundonians or folks from Aberdeen are known as Aberdonians or from Airdrie they’re Airdrieonians... Was just thinking along these lines with the ‘ians’ bit to describe the local population as ! 😉

We are now entering a run of games that will really determine our season, well in my view they will.
Today is a tough one to call. I saw a little bit of Exeter against Shrewsbury on Sky. They hit on the break quickly and were quite effective. They must be respected but it's about how we approach the game and are able to control it.
If we are to be successful this season it is these games that we need to control and win. It's a good test to see if the better recent form is something to be encouraged by.
I am expecting a tight game were a single goal might be the difference.
It's the time to start grinding out results.

Yellow cards are mounting up with Evans one away from a ban (3L, EFL cup), Lonwijk is also on four but one caution was in the EFL Trophy & Kasumu is on three......Hopefully they stay out of the refs book today?

The whole league, bar a couple, are very inconsistent, which makes predictions incredibly difficult (who could have predicted Northampton & Blackpool?), however, going on quality we should win comfortably today, as in the vast majority of our home games this season.
Once we get our minds right, confidence will return & we'll win these types of games, unfortunately, we aren't there yet so Town 1 Exeter 15.
Or Town 2 Exeter 0, one of the two.

Looking at the table this is a big game. Win and we’re right back up there with the leading pack.
Exeter will be no mugs, they’ve conceded the joint lowest in the league (just 8 from 11 games) so expecting a tight game, be delighted with a 1-0 win. UTT 🔵⚪️

If we want to get promoted, these are the sort of games we need to win.
I expect us to put on a display and win a close game.

Turton has been excellent since he returned; was my MoM against Wrexham. Spencer has been appalling this season, mistake after mistake, out of position, wasteful in possession. For me our worst performer this season, even worse than Helik. Would have Kasumu before spencer at RWB at this stage if Turton was injured Love it when we are discussing players... a player is either appalling or excellent, or words to that effect. We need to invent new extreme words to account for the irrational hyperbole used in football. Everything is a 'disgrace' to Alan Brazil, when half the time it's mildly bad and even subjective 😄

Nice City is Exeter. I stay there about once a month with work. Relaxed vibe, so much more so than the towns round here.

Tough one to predict...
Very very tempted to say draw -
However I think we’ll have taken a helluva lot of confidence from a very creditable draw away to Wrexham...
So with home advantage I think and hope that Town can sneak it by one goal...
PREDICTION = Huddersfield Town 1 v Exeter City 0 👍

Town to win today 3-1 again like last week, although we might struggle at first to break them down and it might even be 1-1 for some time. But we will overcome them in the end with two latish goals.

I've spent a fair bit of time in South East, Wokingham area on the Syrrey Hant Berkshire border. Similar there, so much money as well.
