I see that Duff has changed it back to players arriving on the bus at the players entrance, and not parking behind the south stand and getting hounded for selfies on their way in, which seems sensible.
Does anyone know how long we've had a random Jamaican hype man on the mic welcoming the players off the bus though?!

Just waiting for Kevs version of Huddersfield Towns High school musical next with those jackets.

I do some work for a guy who now takes his 6 and 8 year old kids to Town games. He wasn’t a Town fan but his kids have been going with school/local footy club. The players getting off the coach is the highlight of their day. Seeing their heroes at close range. So let support any initiative that gets youngsters on a regular basis. Perhaps some of us old gits no longer understand what needed to attract young fans!

Good job they didn’t have to wear those jackets when Pritchard was here.
Might have needed to find a replica at Mothercare…

I remember something about the England team getting off the bus and most not even making eye contact with the fans/kids. Big pat on the back to those who didn't ignore the plebs and who the f**k you think you are to those who did.
Do they have a HTFC bikini, LUFC do.

Does a good job, but needs to turn his music down as it’s absolutely deafening! (or maybe it’s just me getting old)

Unfortunately, and this is the way of the world these days, there seems to be a commercial aspect to this new policy. They are selling those awful American varsity jackets worn by the players at the Town shop for a neat £130 each. Talk about rip off your fans ... But as I say this is the 'new reality' in football these days.

The state of those jackets....
I'm expecting Marty McFly coming round the corner on a hoverboard telling Hoggy his kids are in bother in 2055.
So,so bad..

Fk that for a game of soldiers.

To be fair, for £130 you get the jacket & whichever player you want with it.

I like varsity jackets, but not keen on the design of the town one. Well done trying out new lines.

They’ll be making a loss on those, I’d be surprised if they sell more than 10 in a year. Along with a couple of the t shirts they’ve brought out. Terrible idea and I hope improving the retail side would have had someone with some brains in charge.

Especially not at that price! Christ if that's the level of judgement from our branding people then I won't hold my breath for the commercial revenues improving! Who the hell is buying that?! Unless you're going to a fancy dress party as Troy from high school musical or someone from grease!! Bet the players love having to wear those! I think they should only make them wear them after a defeat. Duff, Paterson and Russell too

I think our club shop items have been average at best the last few years, but this is actually making it worse. The actual items are one thing, but those prices are another. Huddersfield is a working class town where the average wage is a little over £28k. Sacramento has an average wage of just under $67k. What is the target audience? I can't see that many people in Sacramento giving a shit about us tbh.

Challenge the status quo. And make some badass statement pieces that you can take from the street to the stadium. Badass statement? you can't even take a bottle top into the stadium
