Would shut the curtains for this game if they were playing in my back garden, the corrupt modern game at its best. Cannot see a power surge happening for this game when all the sky subscribers tune in to the company that has ruined the game. Come on man Utd, would love to see 2 academy sides in the final and see the attendance for this corrupt competition.

South Stand is open but only for visiting supporters. When we've filled the Riverside Lower Tier they will perhaps open the home section of the South Stans, ore perhaps the Riverside Upper Tier...................... Seems a bit of a chaotic way to run a match day. The opening of the Upper Tier or South Stand home section was a bit tongue in cheek - vv unlikely we’ll sell out the RiversidecLower, unless there’s a late rush.

There is a large Manure following in Huddersfield, it will be interesting to see just how many turn out.

Still better than Scotland though bluebread as Paisley used to empty every other Saturday when Celtic and Rangers were at Parkhead or Ibrox... All the while their local club St.Mirren played in front of a few men and a dog (dug in Paisley) at the local stadium... Ditto in Dundee (and Dundee United) Perth (St.Johnstone) Kilmarnock, Ayr, Greenock Morton, Motherwell, Edinburgh (Hearts And Hibs) And Dumbarton as well... Tragic glory hunting but true all the same... At least it’s good to see fairly decent sized local crowds head from The Vulcan onwards to support Huddersfield Town ! 👍

Shitehawks everywhere.

There's Man Utd fans in every corner of the country, i meet them in my job where as City are mainly Manchester area but not all of them. I don't know what it is with Leeds, they have a massive following in North/South Yorkshire, Norway and N Ireland. I was at the car boot in summer down at the Town ground and a guy was wearing a Greenock Morton shirt, never seen one before and got chatting to him, he assured me it was worth something.

Will there be tickets available to purchase before the game? Can't commit as I'm not sure I'll be available, but want the option. Would imagine you'd be able to rock up and purchase a ticket on the night.

More than you’d think, quite a few in Holmfirth when I’ve been in the Elephant and Castle when City are on Sky, Mancs who’ve moved over here though from their accents: I do however, know of a few lads from Slaithwaite who used to watch Town and are now City season ticket holders. Urgh.🙈

Please Mr Duff don’t risk any first team players. We have got nearly 2 weeks to get more people fit. Play the B team.

Please Mr Duff don’t risk any first team players. We have got nearly 2 weeks to get more people fit. Play the B team. You can't get players match fit on the training ground. Players like Helik and Healey need match sharpness and get up to speed before the season resumes. Tomorrow is ideal.

If like Wycombe we were sitting pretty at the top of the league & still in the FAC we could go into this game not giving two f*cks if we won or not. With no game two out of the next three Saturdays we almost need to stay in the competition to avoid having to arrange mid season friendlies to stay match fit.......Defeat tomorrow against a U21 side will just about cap off a very poor run, its a must win for me & not on pens.

Given there is no game on Saturday I suspect Duff will field a fairly strong line up. Whereas this game won't define our season, defeat here would be rather embarrassing I fear and would compound the Tamworth and Crawley results further. Please don’t put pressure on these professional footballers, they might crumble, or spit the dummy.

It’s just this isn’t it.It’s context.Had we not already been out of the cups or had that poor league run I also think most would not really be arsed.I also think the Crawley result would have been better received had we just not stunk Tamworth out.The recent form since Birmingham is 4 wins 2 draws 1 loss in all comps.Win the cup game it would have been 5 wins 2 draws.I think in most other seasons we’d be generally happy with the former even with that loss in there, but fan confidence is at an understandably all time low. I have like the boring sap I am,watched Saturday back and the performance as a whole is generally decent, not good, but decent enough to win and with the chances we missed we should have. Bringing it back to tonight it almost feels like because of the fans mindset currently, anything other than a win and probably a convincing one and I think there will be some sort of bad reaction/pile on.

If you look at the Barnsley & Doncaster games against Man Utd U21 both thought they had the points won, Barnsley made three subs at half time when 2-0 up & Doncaster were 3-1 up after 70 minutes when they did the same.
These kids will keep running till the last whistle & bringing fresh legs on against them seems to works in their favour......They scored 3 times at Oakwell & Keepmoat, can we nil them & bag ourselves a winner? UTT.

Id like to see Phillips get some minutes tomorrow He's been given some time off. Fair enough given this will be his first break from the training / rehabbing / playing cycle since July 2023. He's also ineligible until 1st January anyway.

After Schindys pen I went down to Villa Martin square in my Town t-shirt expecting to find a few like minded happy people. Not one, apart from me.

I stand to be corrected, but I believed that his registration resorts to us on the end of his loan. If we have space in the squad, we can register him to play (of course, if we haven’t then we can’t register him). Is there something I’ve missed?
