I've just seen a clip of Robertson and Klopp completely laying into Coote after a game around the time the video was made. Both of them out of order to surround the ref and swear at him.

I think it's easy to just look at Coote's video and judge him alone on that, but if you've got a team who treat you with such disrespect, then what do you expect? Yeah he's fucked up making them videos, bit of a weird thing to do in honesty. But, on the balance of things Klopp and Robertson shouldn't be surrounding and swearing at the ref after a game has finished.

Klopp and other officials should be called out with disrepute charges like they used to be back in the day.

The Refs should be trained and learn to deal with that abuse, even though it shouldn’t happen.

I imagine coppers up and down the land spend a great deal of their working days thinking "what an absolute wanker" about people they have to deal with, but still carry out the job to the best of their ability. Probably happens in most employment sectors tbh.

Coote thinking Jurgen Klopp is a massive twat shouldn't alarm anybody, largely due to the fact that Klopp is indeed a massive twat. His only error of judgement was being thick enough to put those thoughts onto film. Still doesn't mean he's embroiled in any form of corruption though.

Still, it gives those from the self-pity-city something new to cry about. I'm sure PGMOL will spend the next few months compensating them through the medium of penalty kicks anytime anyone farts too close to Mo Salah.

In my opinion, its an absolute non event. Its daft that he has let someone film it, although if they have both had a few drinks, maybe his judgement wasnt great, but its still a private conversation between 2 people in someones lounge. He hasnt said it in an interview after the game to Sky or presented it as fact. Its his own opinion (and he has said what millions of football fans have probably said about Klopp) and its said in a private residence. For me its a nonsense that something like this is even allowed to be posted, when it doesnt commit any offences. There will not be a current referee in any division, who has not sat there with family or friends and made a similar comment about a team/manager.

If you want to talk about professionalism, then lets look at managers like Klopp who shout and rant all kinds of abuse on the touchline, while they are actually working. Why arent all managers immediately suspended when they are shouting foul mouthed nonsense at the referee or saying things that are barely even true in their post match interviews. Or how about the players immediately suspended when shouting foul mouthed abuse at the ref. Within a couple of weeks of the season starting teams would be down to youths players filling the team if that was the case. Honestly, im no referee apologiser, quite the opposite, but this is a joke.

It is a daft thing to do as these things get out eventually and will raise questions about how biased are refs and who do they hate.

All made worse by the fact the drunken rant was aimed at a top side - probably wouldn't be so much fuss had he said I hate Southampton or Leicester for example.

They will what his head on a plate and surely the guy cannot ref in the Premier league again as everyone will be questioning every decision he makes even more now.
