As thread title, inducted into the hall of fame. Fully deserved, said someone in Bristol.

Next up, Jon Moss winning a lifetime award for how to referee with humility, and a special mention for Mike Dean in a ‘shunning the limelight’ award, although he had some strong competition from Clattenburg etc…

She is an inspiration to young people everywhere, showing that you can be fucking embarrassingly shit at your job and still find your way to the top.

Boris has offered her a peerage… But she might be too old to accept it… 😉 It’s a race to the bottom with the ‘hall of fame’ stuff nowadays… Means nowt…

Didn't someone say that her last game was the Bristol City away game? Says a lot Yes, that was the last time she referred a men's match, so her last ever decision was that penalty. She told the press that she wanted to finish on her own terms, while she can still keep up with play (which never bothered Jon Moss). She wants people to believe that she willingly gave up some six years of refereeing in the Premier League in order to coach women referees. Pull the other one Rebecca, it's got bells on. Can we add Paul Tierney to our list of ultra-wank refs?

She was absolute dog shit. Disgusting decisions against us v Hull and Bristol City.
Honorable mention for Trevor Parkes in the referees' Hall of Shame.
(Sent Boothy off in incomprehensible circumstances away at Leyton Orient, circa 2002)
Wasn't season-defining but those that saw it are still scratching their heads over 20 years later. I don't think he went on to do much in the game.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c5y3p1w2x98o1 min into the video, that laughing face looking at the Hull C captain… “Don’t worry son, the brown envelope dropped onto the doormat yesterday” 😉 Hadn’t realised she was from the NE, probably some family tree linkage to Peter Willis…

Jon Moss, Rebecca Welch, Peter Willis, Michael Oliver and George Courtney

Pretty much sums up everywhere I’ve worked perfectly The shitter you are the more likely you are to rise ( or float I guess) to the top. Another saying of mine. “They must have photos of someone in a compromising position “

Without doubt, that penalty at Ashton Gate, in the 10th minute of the 5 additional minutes, was the most atrocious decision I've ever seen in football at any level. The fact it was her last ever in professional football says it all.

Appalling referee and the product of what is wrong with society. People promoted based on agenda rather than merit.
She had zero control of either game she reffed us. Hull saw her weakness and prayed upon it.
Bristol... beyond embarrassing, possibly matched only by the muppet on Tuesday night.

What exactly as she been awarded , what excuse the ignorance is the hall of fame ? ( by any chance is the award the worst penalty decision EVER. given by any ref anywhere ever .)

The first thread on datm I could quite happily like every single post on. This woman was an utter dogshit referee. To actually call her one was insulting to the role. I reckon one of the kids selling programmes would have more idea.

The fact that she says that the women's game is more skillfull than the men's game tells you all you need to know about her knowledge of football.

Thank god she will never ref an Huddersfield town men’s game ever again, there is a god. Useless just doesn’t even get close an embarrassment to her so called profession , stole a living and used her sex to get to where she wanted to reach, wouldn’t of got to non league if she wasn’t female .

There’s been some angry moments watching Town over the years. But that 1st half v Hull, how she allowed Rosenior and his team to manipulate her , was the angriest I’ve ever been. Not just me of course, I cannot ever remember witnessing louder boos at half time for a Ref anywhere, ever.

Not just me of course, I cannot ever remember witnessing louder boos at half time for a Ref anywhere, ever. I really wanted her to be good. I really did. I knew she had to better than the average just to shut up some of the 'women should be in the kitchen' detractors in the crowd. But she was SHITE. Completely shite. Manipulated by Roseniers pre match comments and the play acting of the Hull players. But then booking Thomas for asking the defender to move back 10 yards when he was stood 5 yards away was inexcusable. I could have got over it but then that penalty. We deserved to go down last season, and the remaining games meant we were well relegated, but who knows what would have happened had we won that match? It completely drained the last bit of hope and fight out of a fragile squad. It was so unnecessary, how could anyone possibly justify it? Especially when you look at where she was stood. It honestly seems like it was done out of spite.
