Get onto Mids (PM) and ask him to speak to the club!! I've emailed him this morning. It's probably not his domain but he will know whose it is. When I go to see him on Tuesday we can try and get something sorted. It's bad enough watching 'footie' like that yesterday without the 'authorities' being so obstructive.

The problem is people on this board like to think that the people in the Antich stand are all chavy hoolies and all they want to do is sing about Leeds. We will never get the support from the club to build a proper atmosphere in there. I feel us with our season tickets in the Singing Section are looked down on other town fans just because we sing and shout, stand and swear and yes we do occasionally boo town players who are playing badly or the team if they are playing badly. And yes, most of us do have a few beers before the games. Does that make us less of a town fan?
I stand and sing alot, trying to get the team going. Do the club seriously just want us to sit on our arse for one game and not make a noise at all?
We get slagged off on here for making and noise, and slagged of for making to much noise or for showing out displeasure.
Both the club and the other fans need to have a serious think about what they want/expect from the singing section and then support us.

Never mind E-Mailing Sean Jarvis. If we'd have won handsomely and everything in the garden was rosy, he'd have probably been on here (in his own time as well!......Whoopeedoo!) giving it large about the club going forward, investing in the team, familiy club etc...etc..etc.....etc......etc....and other such P.R / Marketing guff, So, Mr. Jarvis, the garden is not very rosey at the moment. You read this board and use it as a vehicle for your propaganda, I'm sure you've read this thread........have you anything to say regarding the matters in hand? What a pathetic thing to put.....would you prefer it if the club didn't try to communicate with their fans? I get the impression that you're only ever happy when you're being the smartarse.....perhaps you should take sqaudronleader's advice to PC2200.....you seem a bit frustrated.

I went on a couple of free prawn sandwich trips to Old Trafford last season, and was amazed that probably 75% of the Fans were stood for the whole game or at least when Man U were attacking. No Steward intervention whatsoever.
Imagine how great it would be if we got the Pink Link and it was made safe standing llike some terraces are in Germany.

unfortunately pc plod likely wont let that happen-its daft enough that they seemingly make us block off the last block of the singin section for 'safety reasons' when theres a big enough gap anyway, and theres very rarely any trouble with away fans n most fans dont bring enough fans to even be put close enugh to us anyway-the plod have never had a clue, theyre utterly useless, they ought to get a proper job that they can do properly,as they clearly arent capable of doin their job properly without becoming power mad for no reason

I just dont get what they'd do if we (as unlikely as it seems after yesterday!!) got to the premier league and were getting a full house every week. Except we couldn't have a full house cos the police would be sectioning off seats, its a joke.
If they are so bothered despite the fact that theres an ACTUAL gap between the stands just put clear perspex up at the end of each stand.

Cowshed days with coppers helmets flying about, thats what we wanna see ;D Trouble is moaner, many of these nobend coppers think that we are still in the 70's/80's as far as football's concerned! They're clueless muppets who cause more problems than they solve in football grounds up & down the country! (I could mention Hillsborough here, but I won't.....oops!) Adrian Durham on TalkSport the other week called for all police to be banned from inside grounds during games with no potential for trouble (e.g, Town v M.K.Dons) as they serve no purpose whatsoever! Maybe that would be a bit extreme but there's definitely no need for idiots like our new friend Plod 2200 to be as Hitleresque as he & his chums are!

I salute the guy for making an effort to come on here and get the views of us "Punters" but for crying out loud IT'S HIS JOB!!!!!!!!!!! HE GET'S PAID TO DO IT!!!!! In Sales / P.R / and Marketing situations there are good times and there are bad times. In my opinion If you take on the voice of the club then you should be just as vocal when the schmeizer is flying about as you are are when things are going well.......I'm just making sure Mr. Jarvis is on his toes and the (Probably not too insignificant) wage he is getting from Huddersfield town is being used to it's full extent. Hope that's ok

What happened yesterday!!! has come from the stadium secruity, who ever is in charge. We see it week in, week out, especially in the premiership where fans are standing. Liverpool had their number of away tickets reduced, for last weeks visit to Sunderland.. So remember lads, we all have to be good little boys!! and sit down, because at the end of the day, theres only one winner.

I noticed yesterday when going into the DG lower tier towards the away fans how many new stewards / security was stood outside the entrance . Why was this i wondered its only MKDONS for gods sake . Is it a show of power or what , in the lower tier they very rarely tell you to sit down , dont know why they do it , but just be thankful we dont have stewards like they do at Forest , you cant do a thing there , i think if you coughed there you would be out . POWER GOES TO PEOPLES HEADS HTFC SORT IT OUT OR YOU WONT HAVE ANY ATMOSPHERE AT ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POWER GOES TO PEOPLES HEADS HTFC SORT IT OUT OR YOU WONT HAVE ANY ATMOSPHERE AT ALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!! its very dangerous attending a football match now!we are expected to sit there for 90 mins and do nothing!!!the whole thing then gets nasty when a jumped up hitler tells you off like you were at school!i would also say that at least 50% of supporters have a few beers before entering the ground!most of the fans who enter the ground with alcohol inside them go there to mind there own business and watch a game of football!!!then like i say you get a steward giving you the verble and bearing in mind your full of ale you then lose your rag and end up bieng the bad guy who in the first place you havent gone there to cause problems!!!!the whole thing really stinks and it PISSES ME OFF WHEN FANS GET LIFTED FOR NOTHING!!if your causing problems in the first place like throwing a bottle on the pitch or looking for a fight or causing a riot THEN FAIR ENOUGH,but for standing up and swearing and giving the odd jesture its all aload of bollox!!!and like moaner said in the 70,s n 80 s they would of got leathered but there again none of this would of gone off in the first place!!!p.c 2200 WANTS REPORTING TO HIS STATION COMMANDER AND THE STEWARDS NEED REPORTING TO JOHN TOPHAM[CHIEF OF SECURITY]n fact i will have a word with him at the next home game but he will take one look at me and fob me off due to my intake of alcohol ;D ;D ;D ;D ;DTTID
