Don't some blokes know that pink is the new black?! Most blokes don't know black is the old black. Seriously Sean, I'd like to see more but you've created a problem with the limited edition bit. The second run need to be identified as such. The idea of playing a game in them is good.

Yes, keep them coming, I think they are a good idea for a good cause. Pre-order if you want to get an idea of numbers and sizes to order, but definitely do more.

We should wear the pink strip in the FA Cup, home and away, the publicity could be huge!!

They look a bit girlie. The second batch should have a plunging neckline, with a hint of transparency.

I really want one, was planning to buy one on match day as I could not get over during the week only to find they had sold out.
It would be a welcome addition to the wardrobe and for a good cause, I can not see a reason for not getting one.

I was one of the lucky ones that went down to the Town shop at 9.00 on Friday to secure my daughter a special edition PINK Town shirt. I had to buy my daughter a medium (although she could have done with a large)as there were only small and mediums left. I asked the Assistant if there was a chance there would be any more but was told categorically that there would not, I would have waited to get a larger size at a later date, if I had known you were considering ordering a further batch. However my daughter wore her Special edition PINK shirt with pride on Saturday at the match which caused a stir and made her feel both special and proud. I am not opposed to raising money for a good charity like this but maybe a variation on the PINK would keep the original 88 special.

Dear all Firstly thanks to all of the supporters that purchased the pink shirts and consequently contributed to the local charity. Apologies also to those supporters who missed out... which brings me on to the posting. The pink shirts were an idea we had at the begining of the season and were unsure of the popularity and response we would get when we eventually brought them out (3 months to produce). Having put them on sale last week, to be honest, we were all taken aback by how quickly they sold (less than 7 hours to sell out). However since they have sold out we have had a number of comments and emails for people wanting to get their hands on them. As this was a limited edition (only 88 produced - due to the cloth ordered) we are faced with a bit of a dilema and I am keen for some supporter feedback. On one hand we want to keep this a limited edition and not 'overdo' the pink shirts and of course respect the supporters that have bought them. On the other hand because of the response a local charity is arguably missing out on us producing another limited run. Should we undertake another run - we would look to place a pre order system in place and they would not be availble till end of Jan (I guess in time for Valentines Day). In order for us to proceed I would welcome some comments. Cheers Sean it would have been nice to see maybe 200-250 go on sale and im glad it wanst just offered to B&W members. One criticism is that phone orders were taken from 9 but meaning that some people who went down were left empty handed maybe a set amount for phone order should apply? if it is decided that they are to be brought back for the start of next year i will be down there to buy it straight away sadly i couldnt this time as i didnt know they were going on sale last thursday. good work sean

We should wear the pink strip in the FA Cup, home and away, the publicity could be huge!! It wouldn't just be the publicity that would be huge, if as Sean says, it would take until just before Valentines Day to get the material through etc, then that would mean we'd be in the 5th Round of the FA Cup, which is scheduled to take place on the 14th of Feb - which would mean our game getting delayed by a few weeks such that we'd get promoted at home against Leeds (assuming we get those 9 points out of every 12 that Stan is aiming for between now and the end of the season). Plus Championship League clubs are allowed to enter Europe aren't they, so win on Valentines Day in the cup and we'd be only 3 games away from that French, German, Spanish dream of JimmyMacs! ;D

i purchased mine because it was limited edition, the charity bit never came into it. people just want one because it is a very nice shirt, like me, the charity bit is just a bonous, but would buy it regardless. if the club made a batch in bradfords colours and donated the profits to charity then very few people would take them up on the offer. if people wanted to donate money to charity then there is nothing stopping them doing it, you dont need a shirt to prove it, the charity point has nothing to do with the fans wanting one. i would be very if more are made limited edition makes it a special shirt, a novelty collectors item, it wont be limited if you make them for anyone who wants one. why put a limit on it in the first place and call it limited edition. im all for charity, but be honest, you just want the shirt ( i await the abuse)

Great Idea for the fairer sex, however one i saw on a guy in the Antich stand looked a bit iffy not because it was pink but due to him being too large for it.
I think the Town should play in ithe pink shirt against Leeds on Valentine day, what a great publicity oportunity.

The pink shirts were an excellent idea. As others have suggested, how about setting up a pre-order arrangement. Then you can assess the demand. You could also ask for a deposit of £10, which would be returnable, if you didn't receive enough pre-orders.

If we're a laughing stock for playing one game in pink and raising money for charity then in my opinion it says more about the people who are laughing than our club

No Im with Cowshed. Great cause an' all but I don't want to see the lads running out in sugar-pink stripes FFS! Looking like a bunch of fairies will only give them an excuse to play like them too. ;D Pink to make the boys wink!

Just promise me that our team will never ever ever wear them on the field of play. ;D

Is it wrong for me to want 1 for myslef and not my missus? Good idea for the lads to play in it for charity - imagine if we beat L**ds wearing pink! + increases awareness for a very good cause.
Why can't a lad wear it? oh he wears pink = a shirt lifter, pathetic I think it looks cool and completely different to any other football team in this country! (correct me if I am wrong here!)

Its a free country. You can wear a crop top and ra-ra skirt if you feel like it. Maybe Im a bit old fashioned but to me wearing sugar pink just makes a bloke look a bit efeminate but if thats the look you want, go for it luv, er.. i mean mate.

Why not something a bit different - a recreation of the old Gola red and black electric hoops shirt would go down well I reckon. That would be great!! Best shirt ever!!!
