I'd love to see their justification for that, Leon Clarke even put in a written statement saying he didn't touch him

Unbelievable...even with Clarke having written in saying that he slipped!

Not surprised in the slightest, Smithies to have a blinder on debut.

the video evidence shows he slipped, clarke wrote saying he slipped n there was no contact, the ref apparenty(dnt kno if its true)said he made a mistake,AND just for good measure, skarz was back as cover anyway so it shudnt have been a red card in the first place-how can they reject the appeal?if i was ritchie,id be putting together a letter from himself to the fa to tell them what he thinks and tell them to tell him why they rejected the appeal despite all the evidence saying it was the wrong decision

I have never been as annoyed with the F.A!
This shows how incompetant they are. It is a Joke, how can they justify that decision?!
So now we have to play the hardest game of our season with a 17 year old goalkeeper who hasn't played a legue game. Well done F.A.

Maybe we should move to Wales? The welsh FA always rescind red cards given to Swansea/Cardiff or Wrexham players.

I'd threaten to sue them like Birmingham did when Ndlovu got that 2nd yellow for diving against us years & years ago, they soon changed their mind!

well ive emailed them asking for the reasons behind the decision-doubt they'll even reply but figured it was worth a go,and may also email htfc to ask them to ask the fa for the reasons behind the decision and to let the fans know

You won't get a reply, the FA are too busy trying to figure out who they're next going to give £6m a year to look after our England 'superstars'

What with the ticket farce and now this the FA are doing their level best to do the worst job they possibly could.
The Keystone Cops of football.

i know its unlikely i'll get a reply, but hopefully someone will at the very least read it-as i said, ritchie if he asked should be able to find out the reasons,so may email town n ask them to find out n let the fans know, cos i bet even southend fans, seeing the video evidence, the fact their own player wrote a letter in our favour, must be baffled at the decision
