When we play bloody awful football repeatedly year after year and year after year the players and management always blame the ref or say they will learn from the mistakes and want the fans to back the team. We sell 16,000 season tickets bring in some decent players and we have some decent players anyway but it always ends up the same the club lack ambition.

We might lack a decent manager, but we certainly don't lack ambition now that Hoyle is running the show.

I`m appalled at SJ asking fans what they thought of Stan. He is,after all, a paid employee. Did he enquire in confidence? The whole conversation smacks of unproffesionalism from SJ (if it was as has been said above). If he has told someone in an open conversation that Stan has two games - then he deserves carpeting.

Am sorry guys and gals but if you cant be bothered going to a home game because its cold and the performance might not be great you are supporting the wrong club!! As for those who actually want us to lose...........what utter rubbish!! Fans continually bemoan lack of ambition but maybe we need to ask have we got the club we as fans deserve - the 949 who went to peterboro deserve a medal but too often at home the sum total of our support is boo, boo, boo and we all hate leeds scum!!! I dont like ST's attitude at times, nor do i think his post match interviews make any sense but he currently manages the team i love with a passion and i will never want us to lose any game just to remove an unpopular manager!

FWIW I never would wish my team to lose under any circumstances. This is the first home game that I have ever decided not to go to.I`ve missed a couple each season over the years whilst on holiday but that is all.

I`ll believe that more when he dumps Ternent its been said before, hoyle cant make the decision-he can advise davy/watson on what he thinks should be done, but as far as im aware its KD that makes the final decision

Remarkably patient or is it just apathy? I know some Town fans who've been going home and away for 30+ years and they say they just don't care anymore. Wonder how many other Town fans feel the same. I don't think its a matter of Town fans "not caring any more", more that they are fed up and demoralised that year after year, the club just never seems to get things right, on and off the pitch. I don't care. I mainly go for a couple of hours reasonably priced entertainment, a chance to natter with a few mates that I don't see except on a football day, plus half an hour to an hour in the pub beforehand. I've been a season ticket holder since we moved ground, and regular long before that, and I'd decided last season (prior to Ritchie going) that a season ticket above £150 would see me not renewing this season. At the moment my 'will buy at' price for next season is £175 or less...that amount will change as things progress, but I'll quite happily revert from being a 23 home games plus 4 or 5 away games to a 3 or 4 home games plus 7 or 8 away games person....for reasons above, its about having a decent day out, and going to an away ground always enhances that day out, no matter what the result.

congratulations to all the fans turning up here stating they won't be going tomorrow in some sort of bragging way.
oh wait.....that's not what i meant to say. fuck off.
i'll be traveling further than most and spending considerably more than most to get to the game which will eventually culminate in a round trip consisting of liverpool to huddersfield to luton. i don't have a car so i'll be at the mercy of british rail. this isn't a sop story or a "look at me", just a little nudge to those of you who might live within 10/15 minutes of the mac (which is most of huddersfield, really) and who aren't going to make it when you've already payed for the ticket etc etc. if you are a stop-at-home solely due to the current goings on at the club then the joke is on you. you are a joke.

I don't get the fans who stay at home because of our poor form or because it is a cold night. If you truly supported Town as much as you say, you would at least go to every home game weather we win or lose most games.
No matter how crap we was you wouldn't miss a single home game.

I thought he'd told someone what he 'thought'. He's not on the executive board for football making decisions is he? He's a commercial/marketing man? And no doubt speculates about the football side of the club as much as anyone else.

Just for clariity, when I arrived at work yesterday there were a group of about 10 supporters waiting in the cold.
Having dropped off some stuff in my office, I then thought it polite to go and have a quick chat with them whilst they waited for the ticket office to open (and particularly as they had made some comments to me as I passed them on the way in!).
We discussed a lot of things including, Saturday's performance, how things were going, the south stand and had a good bit of banter. In no way was this an official statement, just purely a conversation with our supporters to see what the mood is at the minute.
Apologies if I have caused any concern. This was simply talking to our supporters.
Here's to three points to tonight.
Regards Sean

Some people like to make a meal out of things and sometimes like to twist words etc.... Keep Up The Good Work Sean

Some people do seem rather keen to stir up trouble.
Good response again Sean.

Its an interesting one, today was really the ideal chance to sack him. We should win the next two (if we don't he'll be gone). Presuming we do win the next two we'd probably have to look at it again after Brighton. But by then the season really could be over. Completely agree Nothing less than 6 points will do imo.

when I arrived at work yesterday there were a group of about 10 supporters waiting in the cold. I wonder if they are the people who me and my brother saw last season for tickets at about 3 in the morning when we went down to wait. We should be getting our tickets around dinnertime today when our m8's on dinner break.
