Cannot transfer any players until January. Our "new" players are on good contracts, are Stan`s men and may not react to a new man. Some could now be misfits and will not try. We are restricted on loan players.
It is a shambles unless Deano starts a fire-sale in New Year and really digs deep in his pockets.
But what happens in the meantime?

could see the likes of berrett and collins featuring in the first team squad instead of unsworth and lucketti, also get tom clarke back as soon as his loan spell finishes.

It gives the new man 8 weeks to access the squad and some of Stan's signings are good ones.....and then come January there'll be some ins and some outs....

Or to look at it another way
A brilliant opportunity for someone!
With Dean Hoyle as Chairman we WILL get back into the Championship, the only question in my mind is which manager is the one who'll get us there and get to put it on there cv!

Cannot transfer any players until January. But what happens in the meantime? Work on a system that suits the squad, bring in a loan to replace Dickinson/Booth, then see where we are in January.

I`m concerned about our league posItion NOW and the expectant upheaval in Jan.
On the other hand, perhaps Gerry will steady the ship for a while,

When we look at what we have there is plenty there talent-wise to be much higher up the league.
If we try to be a little less direct and have a bit more width we can go out there and get some results so we're much higher up before January even comes IMO.

Is Boothroyd the answer? Would a coach with a reputation for playing good football not be perhaps a wiser choice?

Especially with no target man in the squad I'd agree.

Didn't AB play good football with Watford when they got promoted?? Maybe as soon as KB left and the better players were sold and not replaced it was a bit pear shaped and he resorted to this tactic.
