After all the attempts to get glennon dropped the F A have finally done it ,seen as though RITCHIE was nt man enough to drop him himself now the young lad has a firm chance to keep his place and keep glenda out who in my opinion has had a easy ride, a draw will be a brilliant result for us tommoro imho, davy must release the cash come january

What position would you strengthen?
I think weve got a very good squad on paper, we just have a lot of people under performing. I really think the squads good enough to get promoted if everyone performs which they arnt. Another goalkeeper would be nice but we dont have a clue on how good Eastwood is or Smithies although he seemed to make a mistake on weds.
I think Davy has done ok for releasing money at the moment, although i still dont like him for the stadium scenario or how long it has taken to release the finances to allow the signings. I think the current lot have to produce or some have to go before more come in. We have 4 good centre mids (in ritchies eyes) in Holdsworth, Wallwork Collins and Worthy, 4 wingers if you include Williams. 4 strikers and a fair few defenders. Its more a case of straight swoping i think. Brando out to bring another left winger in. If tom clarke got back to full fitness that would help immensely. Does ritchie see him as a midfielder aswell?
People just need to perform.
Or the tactics need to be right.

Actually Glennon has been brilliant recently and especially at Swansea. In fact at Southend his saves kept us in it, as the defence couldn't do their jobs properly. We could have been at least 3-0 down at half time if it wasn't for him. I don't understand all the criticism he gets and I hope people wont be so harsh on Smithies.

The main thing about Glennon is he's a very good shot stopper, but has a tempramental kick; the main reason he's berated. Surely, anyone who has both attributes (good kick/shot stopping) would not be playing in the 3rd tier of english football. With a solid defence, as in the last few weeks, he is an excellent player. But if shots are flying at him left right and centre he's bound to make the odd mistake. If he was perfect he wouldn't be playing for us

Agreed, if Glennon could kick consistently then I've no doubt he'd be playing in the Championship. Rabs couldn't kick either and he IS playing first choice for a Championship side.
