Dear all
I have put a statement on the official site. However I did want to put some info on here.
Casino Red have suspended trading of the land based business (I have spoken to the board of the company today and understand that they will be issuing a statement next week). The dot com side of the business is still operational and it is business as usual. I am saddened by the news of the suspension particularly those people who jobs are at stake in a difficult climate and the run up to christmas.
Casino Red. com will remain on the shirts. This is not like the XL situation at West Ham. I will also stress that monies have been paid for the shirt sponsorship. I and the club have offered our assistance to Casino Red in this difficult time and of course hope they come through this period stronger. I will also like to add that the relationship we have had from the company and continue to have is first class. The Directors of the business are also fully behind Town and in the period of their sponsorship have become close friends and supporters to the Club.
As for speculation about other sponsors, then its just speculation. The logo will remain on the shirts for this season and we will continue to work with Casino Red. As for future seasons negotiations are underway which can take some considerable time.
I think that about covers it. Naturally if there are any further developments we will bring you the news first. I am hoping to meet with them next week. I of course urge you to support our partners and advertisers at the club where possible.
I would also like to take this opportunity to say thanks for the hospitality shown at today's North West HTSA meeting. I hope that, like other of our supporters groups, flourish. With support from the club I am sure they will.
Finally - fantastic result today. Here's to Tuesday night - persuade those season ticket holders who are staying away to come, I am sure with increased support the good run can continue. If possible get behind the goals and build on the atmosphere made at Yeovil.
Have a great weekend
Sean

My thoughts go out for those that will be unexpectedly out of work.
It's a tough time for plenty of people at the moment.
