Think that he'll be able to force his way in under Clark? I hope not!

once Lee sees him in a few games and realises he just hasnt got a footballers brain I think he will go on loan again, probably to the conference...

Give him a chance for gods sake, think back to Leeds away last season, their full back was crapping himself every time Malv ran at him - if he can consistently play like that he is a good player to have in this league.
And don't forget Accy Stanley either, 2 good goals that kept us in the FA cup!
Every player has a clean slate under Clark yet fans have to stick to their old gripes about players, it does my head in.

I'd have more respect for Kamara if he admitted he's not played well enough to deserve a place in the team sometimes, rather than going on about not being able to understand why he's not playing. He's got some ability, but its down to him to be more consistant, I certainly don't think he can moan about not being played by Ternent or Murphy.

To be fair, hes not maoniong about not playing, more he's moaning about not even being given a chance under ternent. Like he says, its not as if the team was doing well is it?
Agree with Philex myself. If he can play consistantly like he did in certain games last season, Elland Road being a good example, then he can still have a future here. Its down to him but I thought he did well when he came on last time.

He has admitted that his performances the second half of last season weren't good enough but he wasn't fully fit then either. He mentioned at the same time having the fans on his back didn't help his performances.
We have a player that is willing to work hard, wants to play for the club and earn the shirt, he didn't play under Ternent but Mickey Collins hardly played under Ternent and he's showing us what he can do given a chance - give Malvin that same chance.

Malvin always gives 100%. You simply cannot question his commitment, however, ability-wise, I personally don't think he's good enough for this level. Yes, he's had a few good games but the majority of the time he looks out of his depth. I fear League 2 or below beckons Kamara but I'd love him to prove me wrong! I'm sure Clark will give him ample time in which to impress; it's down to Super Malv now to work hard and show what he can do. EDIT: If only we could combine Kamara's enthusiasm & commitment to the cause, with Jevons' playing ability!

When Ternent was here he was going on about how well he was playing for the reserves, despite nobody else seeing this. He went to Grimsby and they sent him straight back. I just think he seems too quick to blame the manager, rather than admitting that he lost his way badly last season, and from what I saw on Saturday still hasn't got any sort of form back.

The clean slate idea is the best one... including Flynn.. it's up to the players to perform and get selected.... (and I still think we will play Malv up front again at some stage tomorrow...)

The problem at Grimsby was that Newell wanted to use the players he would have for the season, just like Murphy did with Dickinson & Jones, so Kamara couldn't get a look in. I can't really comment on last season under Murphy as I don't remember him moaning or even if he was used! As for the reserves this year, from the reports (admittedly not watching) Kamara seemed to be doing well, weighing in with goals and having a decent all round contribution.

Theres a difference between THINKING a player isn't good enough, and HOPING a player isn't good enough I never said I hope he's not good enough. I said I hope he doesnt get back in the team because I'v seen him play enough times and I dont THINK he is good enough. Cant fault him for effort, he trys I'll give him that, I just dont think he has the ability to play at this level.

The only way he will get back into the team is if he proves himself good enough to be in the team. You said you hope he doesn’t get back in the team; therefore you are hoping that he doesn’t prove himself good enough.

I was saying I hope he doesnt get back in because he hasnt proved himself. A player thats made over 50 appearances for a club and at best only had 5 good games IMO hasnt proved himself and doesnt merit a first team spot.

If Malvin does become a regular under Lee and dereck it doesnt bode well for our future development imo.

Which is why our new manager made the point of saying that it’s a new slate for everyone. The past is gone; what matters is how the players perform from now on. If Malv proves himself then he gets in the team.

If Malvin does become a regular under Lee and dereck it doesnt bode well for our future development imo. Why? Didnt you realise Captain that once a player has a few bad games he is cr@p forever and no matter what he does in the future he will never become good again. Same story for Jevo and Williams in my opinion. On a serious note, different styles suit different players. Long ball games don't suit the likes of Jevo and Kamara. A quick passing game will suit them both. It will hopefully give us a chance to utilise the pace of Kamara and give Jevo the ball to his feet finally. The attitudes some of our fans show toward out of form players at times disgusts me. And no, I'm not trying to prove I'm happy clapper no 1 and the best fan ever. I'm purely trying to support my team and give the players the chance to play at there best rather than slating them all the time when they have in their career shown ability.

Some have short memories - this time last season MK was running various left backs ragged, L**ds' and Orient's immeadiately come to mind
He was also chipping in with vital goals, two at Accrington, the winner at Swansea and a fantastic solo effort at Millwall
Then he took a knock, came back too quickly (shock horror the lad is desparate to play!) and loses a yard of pace, then loses form, then some fans get on his back so he loses his confidence (he seems very much a confidence player) and suddenly he stops being as effective
An on form and confident Kamara (Steve Black enter stage left) and suddenly MK is a genuine assett in League One IMO - give the bloke a break ... I could name at least half a dozen first teamers / big earners I'd get shut of first!

MALVIN needs to attach his feet on the right way before thinking about a new lifeline.

He needs good coaching, something Im not sure hes had enough of. Someone to teach him how to play the game. How to time a run, what kind of run to make, when to cross it, when not , How to hurt the opposition more etc etc. The pace and the good attitude is there in abundance already , if he can improve these things just a little bit, he'll be a very good player to have in the squad
