(but I'm not sure what!).
Pretty peeved yesterday to discover that those turning up to pay on the day could pay cheaper to go in the stand along the side of the pitch, which in itself wouldn't be so bad, but Northampton allow free traffic to and from the two stands (we thought about going down the side for the first half to get a better view of the far end of the pitch but as it filled up behind the goal decided to stay where we were for the extra atmosphere and to be behind the goal as Town attacked in the second half).
If anything, it should be MORE expensive on the day...yesterdays experience just makes me think, "why bother buying in advance".

Cheaper.
Can't remember...a couple of quid less I think.

Its the principle though. Someone was sitting next to me who had turned up on the day, paid less, queued up for a pie and then decided they'd rather sit behind the goal after all.
What kind of safety policy allows for a few hundred more people than there are seats to potentially be in one area of the ground?

I hadn't realised that it was possible to move from behind the goal to down the side.
When we have visited Sixfield's previously the side section was always a 'family' area. I had assumed that this was the case again yesterday.
It's no wonder they are wanting to redevelop the stadium, the away facilities are pretty inadequate for anything upwards of a modest following.

I was one of those who paid only £18 to go on the side, but really everyone should have been charged that or even less for such a shite ground. But a quid is not really worth arguing over, i'm more annoyed at the fact that the "pub" only had Stella on draft and i paid a tenner for burger and chips ;D

i paid on the day, and when i bought the ticket i was told that it was unreserved seating and could sit anywhere.
so toddled off behind the goal - surely the communication between the northampton staff and fans should have been better
