alright all. couldn't make today's game due to work and i was wondering if there were any positives to take from todays game or should we be of the opinion of sacking the entire playing and coaching staff and hurling them all directly into the sun. LOL!

Sounds like Robbie Williams played well ... he's certainly getting 60% of the votes in the M.O.T.M thing.

well nice to see his name in the town team and actually PLAYING a game. this will obviously relief some pressure of Skarz who is in serious danger of 'burning out'. i mean for christ sake he's only 18!

Well Skarz has done alright this season to be fair, but a tad more experience is needed, it would be better for his development to be SLOWLY introduced.

yeah i totally agree. i think the problem with a lot of Town's current crop of players is that the likes of Holdsworth, Mirfin, Worthington, etc constantly played for Town when we were in the 3rd, because we NEEDED them to play. it surely would affected their development.

Positives: - We were the better team for the first 30mins until they scored. - Robbie Williams made a great debut. - As did Alex Smithies. - We had chances but at times it seemed the ball just got stuck under our feet.

so creativity and misfortune were the reasons. makes me a feel a bit knowing that we weren't raped today by the scum down the road. (sour grapes i know!)

another plus was that lucas akins got another 90 minutes under his belt as northwich won again. it is odd though that their results have started to improve about the same time as lucas went on loan there.

Aye I noticed that too. IMO all our fringe youngsters should be out on loan to non-league teams. Get them toughened up. It's probably why Hardy and Young didn't develop simply because they only played a reserve game once in a while. I'm disappointed only Akins left.

you never know more may leave in januray. i expect more to be going to northwich tho. the success of lucas' loan may be a catalyst for more town players going on loan.
so far so good lucas. all you need now is a goal.
