Are these 2 ever going to make a good centre half partnership? Think they have been playing for about 3 years together now and they are still no better. I think its time we realised its not going to happen and look to replace one preferred choice Clarke.

Andy Ritchie should be looking to replace both. The pair of them are a liability. Any good side is based on a solid defence. I think only Gillingham have conceded more than us this season. Opposition forwards are allowed to bully their way through matches, and these two just seem intimidated too easily. Get rid!

i agree totally.in my opinion mirfin is the better of the two.we need another centre back come january.i'm sick of going away and watching the goals leak in. as soon as tom clark is fit i would try him instead of his brother. i still don't understand why town gave them both extensions on their contracts.it seems as though ken still thinks someone will pay a fee for them.now we are stuck with them until 2009.

I think Clarke has the more obvious faults as he's higher profile during a match - his long-range-passing(!), throws, captaincy etc but I do think that Mirf is as weak - as someone's said he never dominates his forward, is actually quite weak in the air and his distribution is very poor. He's fast enough once he gets going but over that first 10 yards he is, unfortunately, like an ox.

Is it all their fault?
Where were Collins and Wallwork (who both had mares) when the L**ds player took a shot unchallenged for their first?
We were over ran in midfield for the second half (shame AR couldn't see this)
That said I actually thought Nathan was our best player and made some fantastic last ditch tackles
At least it's not Glennon's fault this week for the goals against;)
