I cant see ours been on if we get the kind of deluge they were on about on the news. 40-50cm overnight, worst closest you get to east of penines.

if our game is the only one to go ahead (which i doubt it will)
a win could put pressure on those teams above us..
a loss and they will have a LOT of games in hand.
could be an important game.

well i doubt hartlepool will leave until 2-3pm so we probably have the morning to check the conditions n the forecast for the rest of the day n the evening-also have to think about the fans going home as well,it might be ok in the afternoon, but by half 9,the roads n paths could be icy

We have had the undersoil heating on over the weekend so it should go ahead.

We have had the undersoil heating on over the weekend so it should go ahead. Nothing to do with the pitch, it's whether it'd be safe to travel to the ground.

We have had the undersoil heating on over the weekend so it should go ahead. Unless the undersoil heating covers the whole of Huddersfield, and the A1, then that's not really relevant.

Health and Safety. Anybody watch that programme on channel 4 just before christmas on health and safety? That retard on there would do his nut if the game went ahead tomorrow. IMO if someone falls over its there own fault for not being careful, if you dont think your capable of staying on your feet, or not falling so stupidly that you break something, then dont attend the game

u can be as careful as you want, and as capable of staying on your feet as you want, but if you're going down a steep hill and its really icy, then you'll be falling over whatever you try to do to keep on your feet

With it being a sky game they will be doing a lot more and taking more chance than they would with just a normal game

There's no way that game would be on if it wasn't on Sky.

We need to ensure that we take full advantage of this situation. Play the game, pile another three points onto our total and increase the pressure on those above us who will hopefully start to get fixtures piled up. Its slow going but the main roads are passable enough.

it will be called off i think sadly. but im bothered about the damage to our pitch remember before it was relaid when it was cold and we had the heating on? all it did was melt the snow and then soak the ground but was trying to heat it at same time, ended up being a mess and cracked :-(
