What a hell hole that place is. The number of riot police on duty after the match had to be seen to be believed.
Anybody who thinks Leeds have only a few hundred nutters is completely deluded. There were thousands of them on both sides of us baying for blood. Did any of their fans behind the goal actually watch the match?
25 minutes we were kept in! There must have been 500 riot police forming a zone from the Peacock, all the way round the car park & right round to the ring road. How many announcements did we hear along the lines of 'for your own saftey'. Its not rocket science - Leeds know exactly who these thousands of idiots are, yet they let them in all the same.
And what about the decision to close the bar in our corner, whilst the clowns who were responsible for the biggest police presence I've ever seen at a football match, were allowed to fuel themselves for the mayhem they hoped would follow.
Every team has its idiots but the number of Leeds hooligans is beyond belief. It wouldn't surprise me if the police tried to close part (or all) of the ground on safety grounds - a bit like a pub where drugs are dealt. Being kept in at the end is a throwback to 20 years ago, but it was definately the right decision yesterday.
I feel sorry for the genuine Leeds supporters, but if Leeds cant (or wont) deal with their hooligan problem that place should be closed down.

If it hadn't have been for your own hooligans defacing a sacred piece of Leeds history, it wouldn't have been half as bad.
I do agree that we have a definite hard core of nutters, but do you think the police presence will be any less in the return fixture? I don't think so.

No, there'll be the same amount of police because your hooligans will want to get some sort of revenge for Billy Blue Face by smashing up pubs and attacking innocent folk that had nothing to do with the statue vandalism....

Get a grip man, he was a footballer, nothing more. A corrupt one at that. Best image of him ever.
