Why should the home fans have to stay behind, everywhere i have ever been! its always the away fans that are kept behind.

My father had spit on the back of his coat and a chap walking alongside him got it in his face, so it really happened HOLA. What's worse is a female police officer who was aware of it did nothing. Very unsavoury.

Yeah lets wait till someone innocent gets hurt, hey it could be you, but its alirght cos we won the match, who cares if we get beat up, aslong as we won right? Muppet. My point was, people on here were moaning before yesterdays game. That they didn't want to be kept in the ground after the match. So you were allowed to leave the ground at the final whistle. Yet your still moaning. Can't win either way Just to add to that it just seems the fashion today to blame the police completely (not saying they don't f up sometimes but it's not ALL their fault!) What about individual responsibility!!! If you walked through the St Andrew's car park, you knew it was where all their coaches were parked so why not walk round, or over the bridge and through town terrace or The Zone!!?? So you (and I) chose to to walk through their fans regardless!! Wouldn't you have preferred there to have been a large police presence including dogs and horses!!?? If not I reckon it would have kicked off big time!!! Just to add some balance to the argument!!!

i got a lift off someone parked up leeds road , past the peacock, and was the quietest i've seen it for years. did they force all the l**ds fans up through the car park and not let them come down the side of the riverside?
alot of town fans did stay back 5 minutes to cheer the team off. great result tho i thought what they showed on the championship program this morning didn't give a true representation as they made it look like it was all l**ds

Just watched the World highlights on the OS and we did have more chances that were seemingly forgotten on the Championship this morning... Lukas' turn and shot 6 yards out that deflected for a corner...another 25 yarder attempt. Pilks' cross that no-one connected with. etc etc.

You see scum fans wont be used to that Pozza being lower leaguers........have they ever played at Old Trafford ? Old-ham maybe ? I loathe our neighbours from down the A62 but their followers although rather quiet for 4,000 were to be fair in non-neanderthal mode (from what I saw yesterday). Having had to "run the gauntlet" at their lop sided ground earlier this season I almost wish Town fans had made it more hostile afterwards

I can`t understand all these posts. We walked through the ST.Andrews car park onwards and upwards into town and into the bus station.( we chose to leave the car at home because of potential parking problems) and never saw any bother at all. We did see some fans on the slopes going out but we thought they had chosen to get out that way?

We were kept in at Bellend Road last season, but there were still loads of l**ds fans around so didn't really achieve much!!! Those behind the goals in the "family area" at the game at Elland Road THIS season weren't locked in though - so you had blokes with kids coming out into a load of Leeds finest frothers. You are correct that we (in the family area) at ER were allowed out at final whistle which we took advantage of after celebrating like everyone else when the team came over. However, I must point out that both my kids had there colours clearly visible from the front (I was stood behind them both and could not see this at the time), but we did not get once single ounce of trouble. A few made a well done comment in a none threatening way but nothing aggressive, even when we walked through the middle a large group hanging around the Bremner statute. I agree with H0L4 in that 99% of Leeds fans are sensible people, it's just the 1% of idiots you have to keep an eye out for. Oh I did nearly forget that Chazza and I got called b*stards 3 hours later in Morley ASDA as we had our shirts on. In the split second that it sunk in what had been said the guy had gone. We were stunned and found it funny. Anyone else ever been abused whilst looking at gravy granules?

I think some people need to calm down and just accept that this sort of thing is gonna happen with a big crowd/derby!!! We were kept in at Bellend Road last season, but there were still loads of l**ds fans around so didn't really achieve much!!! One option would have been to send all Town fans out towards Kilner Bank.. That would have stopped the conjestion in the St Andrew's car park........but not stopped people moaning like fook on here!!!! Well said lad, its football it happens. Stop moaning people, we beat leeds for the 3rd time in a row. What more do u want. Not to get threatened while i'm walking back to the car minding my own business.

Chances wise Town also had the Pilks header over bar in 1st half which he should have buried plus the Collins 1 on 1 at the end.Scum dominated possession in 2nd half but made 2 chances---the header that hit post and the 1 0n 1 where Smithies earned his corn---a lot of their dominance was down to Lee Clark playing the "what we have we hold" game which is why in my opinion Parker should have been on the bench not Jevons to use his pace to hit em on break. They are average and didnt really convert possession to chances and we need more in the final third but who cares we beat the tw*ts AGAIN

Oh I did nearly forget that Chazza and I got called b*stards 3 hours later in Morley ASDA as we had our shirts on. Just reminded me - - - walking through Meadowhall Saturday 5:30pm-ish (my penance) - noticed a few Hull City shirts giving thumbs up to my lad (who had his Town shirt on and had left his jacket in the car) in passing!! He did ask me why the Bradford fans were being nice though!

Unlikely, unless its the third arm that Hull supporters have a fading Leeds tat on?

surely the coaches cant drive through that crowd,so it must make sense to keep the visiting fans back even for 15 mins
