Just seen the goals the first was caused by Clarke kneeing the ball to mirf who cleared it straight to their player.
How many times do we see Clarke with his hand up and mirf with his head in his hands. Get at least one experienced centre half and I GURANTEE that the results will improve, because the potential is there. Somebody like Chris Lucketti, Chris Morgan, David Unsworth, Darren Purse, etc , make them captain and as keiran said yesterday lets rough them up, its easy.

unfortunately that will cost money. money which town don't have apparently. i know i may get in the neck for saying this, but i reckon almost have all the players we need to get us up. we simply don't have the coaching staff to match that.

Solution: Wallworks wages. I'd love Chris Morgan here. The other defenders would be too scared to even make a mistake.

good idea. they certainly wouldn't want to make a mistake and may be good for their development.

Just waving to his Mam.

Here here,a good old head at centre half is what we are crying out for. Also keep holdsworth at right back, never seen a central midfielder.Too lightweight . Robbie Williams looks a pretty solid left back.

I think we need a defensive coach more than anything. If you look at the away games so far this season, we are dominating possesion but leaking goals for fun. Changing the manager is not the answer every time, we need stability.
Frank Sinclair should be your experience at the back but I have serious doubts about this guy after another stupid sending off. I would bin him at the end of the season and swap him for a decent coach!

If you want a experienced centre back what about Lee Bullen at Sheffield Wednesday - he knows this league well, no nonesense, experienced, out of the picture at Wednesday etc
Certainly a take no prisoners type!
Personally I'd try the Clarkes together (when Tom is fit) with Mirfin playing at right back.
For his stupidity Sinclair doesn't deserve to walk back into the side when he's completed his suspension

i wouldnt put the two clarkes together at centre back at all - we need someone commanding, experienced and strong.
mirfin and clarke together have proved time and again they are not up to it. frank was stupid to get sent off and misses 4 games.
aaron hardy isnt good enough, TC isnt fit - who else do we have?
we just dont have good enough players to compete with the better teams in this league and are far too lightweight and soft away from home.
we have conceded far too many goals to have any hope of achieving anything this season - all too predictably as well.

We just have nothing in the centre of defence unfortunately. Both Clarke and Mirf are OK when the ball is into the channels, but that just means they are out of position and the other one does not cover - so the opposition get a clean run on the keeper and then put in the rebound, etc. 2nd ball - they need to anticipate whats going to happen. As for being to scared to make a mistake if Chris Morgan came in, they already look sh!t scared now, even when it's nil - nil.
