Another top effort in there today ladies God knows how many we had in there, but we packed it out and the beer garden too for a good sing along! Anyone know who the lads with the megaphone were? Or the pissed up nutter on the table? You could hear us right down at the car park, don't think they were expecting so many as they had bugger all bar staff on!

We had the megaphone ;D was a very good find. Thought the bar staff were poor today. Took almost half an hour to even get near the bar! Quality atmosphere...pity it couldn't get going in the ground

Stockport fans seem to think we made a fair amount of noise compared to usual away support, but it was difficult to create much noise without a roof!

The noise was fine, except there were about 4 different chants going at the same time ;D All in all a great footballing day out, if only the result had gone our way

Fantastic effort by all who were there!
Special mentions go to the drummer, the guys with the megaphone and the cheeky f*cker who pissed on the plant in the corner and said he was just 'watering the plants' ;D
I love Huddersfield away matches... better when we win, but still a laugh nonetheless.

Definitely Lordy, had another great day today ;D
On a slightly sourer note though, does anyone have any idea what happened at the Jolly Crofter up the road from the Robert Peel after the final whistle?
Looked like something was kicking off.

We parked just down the road and followed the Town chants to the pub. I got a bit of stick from the Stockport fans in there (not as much as walking away from the ground) for wearing my pink shirt, but it was still enjoyable.
You sometimes forget that you don't actually know the people you read posts from on here, I saw someone who I thought posted on here and almost went and started talking to them, before realising they wouldn't have a clue who I was!

I always go talk to people who i think post on here.
In fact, I freaked Andy Merriman out by saying "Andy Merriman" to him.

I think I saw you actually. I don't imagine there are many Town fans with Ding on the back of their shirts!

Yeah. I was in the pink shirt too. Longish (for a lad) light brown hair, probably getting jip off some Stockport fans...

I think I saw you. I was a bit stressed when we got in the Peel, we'd been lost for 30 minutes - I'm blaming google maps for the crap directions - thats why we ended up outside Boundary Park...Nothing to do with my rubbish co piloting skills..honest

Looked like something was kicking off. Bunch of 12 year olds giving it the lip to the hench 40year olds outside the Jolly Crofter. Ran away when they made a move toward them though which I found hilarious. And then on the train bragging to their mates of how there was only one rozza and they still didn't dare have a go.

I wish i was sat in the passenger seat everyweek! Next time I am sorting the directions. If i was in charge we wouldn't end up outside the wrong tinpot league 1 ground!

Fantastic effort in the Peel? If you consider a load of kids spilling beer and not able to get it in their mouths as a 'fantastic effort' that is!
It was like watching a casting call of Skins rejects.

yes it was on the same road about 100 yards on............. If it was 100 yards away, why was the Prince Albert giving him so many problems in the toilet? He seemed to be in terrible pain.

right, be quick my internet connection is shit, in the peel after the game...some town fan, never seen before was pissed having a laugh with the stockport chavs, with his mates, and all of the sudden they turned on him, tracksuits were active, and he left.
He was fine, we were asked who we supported.....plenty of egg chasing fans we with us to 'enjoy' a football match (left with 20 mins to go), supporting Town, so with big bastards with us they were very friendly and best mates all of a sudden!!!!!!!!!!!
Still, love away days...

The Bobby Peel has always got a decent away presence. Castle Street is always quite lively before a game, but don't tell leeds fans. They were all shut when they came and didn't open until 90 minutes after the final whistle - when they had all gone home!

Royal Oak had quite a few town fans in and none of the chav element so looks like we made the right choice going there rather than Robert Peel

It was like watching a casting call of Skins rejects. Getting a bit elitist in your old age? In fairness to everyone in there, they were in good voice, and there were no unsavoury chants like last week in Bank.

if it wasnt for all the kids spilling beer and enjoying themselves,it would be a much more boring place to be,so keep spilling and chanting as long as you keep turning up every week who gives a fu*k

Nope, its just that I'm pretty sure I learned to get my drink into my mouth before I started infant school.
