Why if it was a sell out, were there around 50-100 empty seats in the away section

I'm sure our allocation was 1984 but we nearly got 2100?

Why if it was a sell out, were there around 50-100 empty seats in the away section The seats were in a diagonal line away backwards that would mean anyone sat there would not be able to see the goal due to the massive roof support girders. So I presume they don't sell them for this reason. I was in the last occupied seat, could just see the goal posts but not pen spot

Think a few of the empty seats could have been due to people either not being allowed into the ground or being thrown out by the morons from greater manchester police who seemed to be hyped up for some kind of world war three senario. A lad who was with us wasn't let in the ground for being too drunk then barged about by the mounted police and threatened with the usual section 5, despite only having had 4 or 5 pints not swearing or being abusive in any way at all. Another guy thrown out of the ground in a headlock by about 4 coppers after being threatened with arrest for being drunk and disorderly, all despite the fact the guy claimed to be driving and offered to take a breath test to prove it. Why is it just because you're going to a football match the police have the right to treat and talk to you like shite with no comeback at all.

To say we bought tickets first day they were on sale for the Popular stand we couldn't see properly due to that tv gantry, posts, fat steward etc.
Same at Crewe - stuck on the back row getting freezing cold.
Not very impressed.
