Some fans are critising other fans for booing but as is said numerous times you pay your money your entitled to your opinion, the booing today was justified in my opinion, I believe it is because of the recent games not just today and especially against a team who are bottom playing with 10 men, there are only a couple of players that I can honestly say deserve their place at the moment, Pilkington, Cads, Goodwin, Nathan (before he was injured) and Roberts (his crossing lets him down at the mo but he shows commitment) and maybe 1/2 more

It's not about whether booing is justified. How does it help the team? I go to support Huddersfield Town, I don't boo them because I want them to do well and can't see how booing them would make any of them want to put that extra 10%/20% in.
Even if a player is completely shit like Jutkiewicz, if we all rallied behind the team, these players would probably give that extra bit. Although with Jukka it wouldn't make a difference because he really is terrible. But the principle still stands.
The only people booing our players will help is the opposition. So it isn't about whether they deserve to be booed, it's about what booing the team does for Huddersfield Town.
I require an answer, What does booing our own players do for Huddersfield Town?

problem is that booing plays right into the oppositions hands geeing them up, the young lad shouldnt have been palyin in the first place and yes you pays your money etc but if you must boo do it at the end of the game, I bet all those potential signings we are after cant wait to come for the current Huddersfield welcome.

Some fans might want to accept second best but not all of us, what is the point of just expressing your dissappointment on here nothing will change it, the players and the club have to know that it is not appreciated when they put in an inept performance regularly, this game should be played by men not pre-madonna's of the premiership accept it, learn from it or get out. I am a passionate town fan and want the club to do well it's just a shame that some players aren't the same, oh and by the JOHNS I never said I actually boo'ed myself I said that I can agree with the booing, think about it before you reply. HHHMMMMM?

I booed myself because its unacceptable i couldn't care less whether he apologised or not he doesn't deserve to be here!! As far the players that deserve a place: Smithies, Butler, Pilkington, Cads, Goodwin, Nat Clarke Why is it that Roberts is god to you lot he was diabolicle once again today and has been ever since his ban apart from the odd goal to bail him out of a shite performance, he does not deserve a place atm!!

Booing an individual is never acceptable - we all want the best for Town so how can heaping shit on an individual be helpful, cos after all, we want a dramatic improvement next time.
Booing the team off is more debateable - yes it shows them that we are not happy, but as booing is so common place now, it might be more effective just to stand there in total silence.

so because someone has a different opinion on this subject they are a prick? oh dear Is that not just a variation on booing? If you are entitle to boo then surely you are entitled to name call as well. Surely the name calling will help him see that his opinion was not good enough, that he must do better. Hopefully it will lift him to do better as is no doubt the intention with booing. In fact if booing is such a powerful tool for motivation we should boo goals and all the players names when read out! Maybe we could have a stand for the booers to lift the team from where they could mix with like-minded people, I think most clubs call it the away stand.

What is wrong with booing? How else are fans supposed to vent their frustration? If a player is totally shite but puts the effort in then its out of order, if a player gets booed just for being robbie williams its out of order, but if someone cant even be arsed to put a shift in, then has a strop he has every right to get booed.
