Imagine if he scored on Saturday.... Imagine if he scored the winner! Remember Robbie Edwards when Jacko brought him on as a sub in the last 5 mins put him up front and only scored a screamer from the edge of the box... wouldn't mind a Boothy header though. |

Exellent vid Duncan just watched it and im filling up, not joking either, Sat is gonna be a sad day for me.
That should be played on big screen and I just hope he scores and also hope he gets to do his own lap of honour.

I'll share my little story... Few years ago I used to work at the Keys Restaurant under St. Peters church in Town. Boothy frequents there now and again with his family (mum, dad, wife, kids etc) In my last week the owners got the legend to sign a leaving card for me that had the Town  on it as it was bought by a town fan colleague... 'All the best Steve ..... Andy Booth'... magic.  He brought it over to me personally to ask where I was going to be working etc. Handshake. I was made up for a while after that. Legend! |

 the partnership with Rocket Ron is the best modern day town strikeforce imo.... when we first moved to the farm.... they were class, just what we could do with now !

My wife and I made this banner for the match on saturday as a tribute to Boothy. It is going to be an emotional day. I was there for his first professional hat trick at Plymouth - it was absolute quality. Gerry Murphy always professed that "it is nice to be important but important to be nice". Not Sure Yet. I sit in the Kilner Bank and so I was either going to take it down to the front and drape it over one of the hoardings or I might put it over the steps up from the concourse. I am going to get there early and work out the best spot!
I'm going to Leyton Orient as well so I'll take it down there with me to give the legend a proper send off.

We've been through this before, but IMO I hate the tag "legend", therefore: I will not call Boothy a "legend". But for you to say I'm not a Town fan is the worst insult possible. How dare you tell me I'm not a Town fan? I can't even begin to think how many games I've been to in my short life, or how much money has been spent. |
