Haven't heard much in the way of predictions for next season about him so far this summer. Given that he wasn't as effective in the latter of the season what does everyone think Clarks plans for him are?
Do you think he will rediscover his best form?
Personally I think playing alongside pilks and kay from the off will give him so much more confidence when going forward, I think the best is yet to come!

Improved a lot at the end of the season, hopefully he'll start off on the right foot and be one of the players of the season again.

He shows a real touch of class sometimes and does some clever things. But I felt last season he was mentally sometimes in front of players and so he couldn't be at his best; then he seemed to lose confidence. I think with better players around him he will shine.

If I wasn't a town fan he's probably the only player (on his day) who I'd be gladly pay to watch. He can be a real spark and has that little something extra. I've got high hopes for him this coming season.

Robbo for me is top class. Agreed he didn't have as strong a second half of the season compared to the first but don't forget he didn't play much for Ipswich he was only a bit part player. All being well Clarky will get all the players into top shape and fitness for the season ahead.

All about opinions i know, but gary roberts is one of the matchwinners in towns squad, a class act in the third division who could easily be effective at a higher level. I would think he'd be a key player next season, and would continue to be so if we went up. Inconsistent he maybe, but name me a winger outside the prem who isn't to some extent, it's int he very nature of the position that there will be some games that almost pass them by

Remember the ipswich fans saying hed start off like a train on fire for a month or two, then tail off a bit and thats pretty much what happened. On his day hes excellent but sometimes he can be pretty bloody useless aswell. I rate him a lot though cos hes so unpredictable and can do things a bit off the cuff. Shouldn't have been official POTS though IMO

No chance of Roberts doing anything on or with the right foot I beg to differ! Apologies for the poor quality of the photo: Yes, that's Gary Roberts. Yes, he's just taken a shot with his right foot. (Yes, it missed.)

I believe that with quality balls being played into him from Kay, a target to aim for in Simpson, Pilkington taking some of the preassure on th'opposite wing and Ainsworth champing at the bit on the bench, will bring out the very best in Robbo next season.

I would be shatting myself "opposing teams" with the prospect of our wingers ;D we just need a potent strikeforce in place

If Roberts looks as good as he did when we first signed him at the start of next season it will mean the team isn't performing and we're in for a poor season. If Roberts looks average and doesn't stick out as our best player then i think we're on course for a great season and probably promotion.
Roberts is abit like Martin Smith was in this respect..Looked a world beater in a shit side but part of a team in a good one..

I can see your point Bro but IMO it doesn't hold much water to say that just because Robbo plays awesomel we aren't going to have a successful season at all. One player aint gonna ruin our promotion charge.
