Blackpool first game of the 94 /95 season. Twice the number of away fans than home fans. The first time in years we had taken more than 5000 away . Plus we won 4-1

Middlesbrough away in the league cup. Lost 5-1 but an absolute cracking game and atmosphere! Who can ever forget the celebrations when Payton scored with about 2 minutes remaining!? Or indeed the Town fans celebrating Middlesbrough goals!! 1995? October/November 1996 I was in my final year at University came down from Newcastle with some mates.

Another one who was on the Football Special to "Manors" station in Newcastle. The Stalybridge stop after the Wolves game was the best. The train and station platform got trashed and those who were old enough had a few pots in Stalybridge.

Crewe Alex 2-5 Town during the Great Escape. Amazing reult & amazing performance, and the time that we REALLY started to believe.... ...that was a night to remember, still goad the odd Crewe fan about that one even now ;D Pavs hattrick at Port Vale is another happy memory, and the game at Stockport a few years back when Boothy and Pav scored those 2 late goals to give us victory!!

Man city 99-00 i think Chrisy beech bullet header in front of all town fans. Wrexham in ldv around 2002ish when dwayne mattis scored the best individual goal ive ever seen, there was only 100ish town fans there so not many will have seen it. Also as mentioned above 5-2 at crewe

Hereford away in 1980!!!! Last away game of the season, loads went down, fantastic atmosphere. Buxton had to come out of the dressing room & tell us to go home as we just stayed there singing, then finding out Wallsall had been beaten & Town could go up as Champions. Get in!

Man City away around 83/84. We went 2-0 up early, Mark Lillis I think. They pulled it back to 2-2 and then we got the winner. Was even more surprised when I got back to my car and it was still there, and not even up on bricks!

That was the one, Alan Buckley was Walsalls Manager and was bragging about how they would never be caught ;D

QPR in the FA Cup (I think), when Tom Cowan had to go in goal & we managed a 1-1 draw.

Got to be the cup game at Boro for me. Best drubbing imaginable.

Peterborough in the play-offs, rocking behind that goal with about 4,000 Town fans. Never be repeated with seating.
Pity it all ended in tears!

Lincoln in the playoffs, after the heartbreak of Cheltenham, I was convinced we'd thrown it away, but that game gave me hope! Also Bournemouth away a few seasons ago, 3-0 up at half time I think, they got it back to 3-2 in the second half but an enjoyable win on the South coast, with many of my family being Bournemouth supporters.

As someone who has followed Town for around 6 years my most memorable away days are the mainstream Millenium Stadium 2004, Chelsea 2006 and Barnsley Play-offs 2006. Finally felt like I was an adopted Terrier when stood in the pouring rain at Accy a few weeks ago chatting to Town fans I had never met before on the terracing behind the goal, so that game was special as well. All time away day was 1999 when my Ashton-Under-Lyne friends blagged me a ticket and flew out to the Nou Camp. Oops nearly forgot 2002 game when United beat scum 4-3 in a thrilling game at Bellend Road. ;D Town was away that day before the Town Part Time Supporter Police jump on me
