But come January you can go back to whence you came. Done an OK job but thats it really, Worthy can do a better job for me and funds then available for Jevons + central defender (). Nothing against RW at all but doesnt bring a great deal to the party that we haven't already got. Lets build from a solid central defensive pairing, a solid central midfield pair not your pair Numbers..still gettin in bother!!) and the rest will look after itself.
Billy Bremner is a blue.

One small problem! Worthington can talk to other clubs, as he is out of contract at the end of the season.

Well sell him an' all..if he doesnt want to sign.. get rid. I'd play for a minimum amount AND i'd keep the local streets free of illegal parkers..how good is that?

Contracted to summer of 2009 according to OS
Would rather have a CB or LW + Jevo than Jevo+Ronnie now that Worthy is coming back IMO.

Billy Bremner is a blue. Can't agree with that. I am really looking forward to seeing Worthy & Wallwork playing together, think it will work a treat imo.

We cant have wallwork and worthy playing, we need an offensive minded midfielder in there with worthy. Has to be collins in my eyes, hes fantastic with worthy (last year).

I'd like to see how Worthy and Wallwork play together before getting rid.
I'd agree if a really good centre half became available then it would be goodbye to Wallwork. Can't see us having funds for both.

I'd agree Wallwork has been overrated by town fans. But I still think he's better than Holdsworth & Collins in a central midfield role. I disagree with the comment above that he couldn't work with Worthington. I think worthy would shine if allowed to get forward and let Wallwork play the holding role.

I would like to see Worthy and Wallwork play together before passing judgement, but I would worry about the lack of creativity - they will give us a bit more steel midfield but neither are particularly good ball players. I also think Holdsworth is underrated in midfield. I wasn't convinced at the start of the season, but in recent weeks he has been more involved, making himself available to the defence and passing the ball simply, but accurately around. We have been short of that sort of player since Horne left.

dont think there is much to chose between a central midfield with anyone from wallwork, worthy, collins and holdsworth.
if wallwork is on 6k a week then i would send him back when worthy is fit and bring in a strong centre back on loan in his place.
someone like morgan would sort that shambles out no problem.

I think Holdsworth and Worthy will be a very good pairing in the middle. Isn't Holdsworth leading the assists chart for League One? He was a few weeks ago. Worthy makes a massive difference to the side when he plays
Collins is decent back up. There are also other options in midfield after him
Wallwork has done okay but if it's a choice of signing Wallwork or say Stuart Elliott then it's a no brainer for me
Only players in the last six months of their contract can talk to other clubs in January (Worthy's has 18 months to run on his so can't).
Of our out of contract players in the summer the only one I'd move to secure to a new deal at this moment in time would be Joe Scarz, making a decision on the rest based on performances / development over the next six months
