... but I've just been watching the Brentford playoff victory on You Tube thanks to MarshTerrier uploading it.
What a night.
Wish we had a group of players like that now... how much passion? Warnock did an amazing job.
Jepson's a legend.
Hairs on the back of your neck stuff... THAT'S what it's all about.
HUDDERSFIELD TOWN WILL RISE AGAIN.

That's the problem. I haven't felt that strong/passionate about town since Jacko's return season back in Div 3. Since then it all been downhill. Part of me wishes that we would get thumped 4-nil on sat. Something needs to change. Richie doesn't help matters he must be the most unpassionate manager/interviewee I have ever known All he does is point out the bleeding obvious. 'Maybe I'm training them too hard' goes down as a classic in my book. I don't think the man understands passion or rivalry. After full time on sat I saw him smiling and joking with one of the leeds backroom staff. If it was me I'd had run into the changing room only emerging to offer a grovelling apology for my lack of management skills to the town fans. Get rid I say

Give him till end of season, don't think we're going down. Then get rid if things don't look any better.
I wanted him out a few weeks ago but things were improving a bit until these last 2 away games, let's give him another 6 months then see eh?

Interesting when Town fans talk about "passion". Steve Coppell isn't "passionate" (well, certain circumstances excepted allegedly ha ha) but you can't say he has done badly at Reading. But of course the opposite applies say with Martin O'Neill.
Personally, I couldn't give a "Hugo Boss" whether our manager was scratching his butt whilst doing the Telegraph crossword as long as Town were playing like has been stated in the posts above.
For example, I remember a particular stuffing of Birmingham when Horton was in charge, and nobody complained that day, but folk have been savage about his tenure since.
How about giving AR a chance when he has had firstly some time & secondly some support from the board. How about him boring the pants off a TV audience after a play-off win this year or promotion next year or even just a win against the Brummies in the Cup?
Give the man a break. UTT.

Warnock+Jackson- man managers/motivators Ritchie- seems to be a bit of a wheeler dealer nothing wrong with either I guess just comes down to personal preference really-just different styles of management theres a mix of all types in the premiership... I would rather have jacko or warnock any day though non doubt the sodding football purests will disagree with me!

Yes and No The point is we can disagree AND discuss. Apart from our friendly opposition posters all of us here are Town. As such we can debate in a reasonable manner! I DO like Warnock. Wembley against the Gas was amazing. I DO like Jacko. Cardiff againt the Stags as above ha ha.
No one on this board will give you grief for intelligent debate. I.
