My final thoughts on the Leeds game fwit. I reckon fates conspired against us. The wednesday night game and long long trip up and down (L**ds had 2 weeks off and an easy home game the night before). Glennon being very unfortunate to be sent off, and the FA doing FA about it on his appeal - despite their player admitting he never touched him. The weather - no matter how fit you are - 2 games in less then 3 days in heavy ground is bound to take its toll. The referee - Bottled it in not sending off their player. Luck - The crucial first goal from their first real shot, took a nasty bounce just before reaching Smithies. Nightmare for him (and any goalie) BUT - Overall we also have to be stronger mentally - Sinclair was dreadful on Wednesday, and Wallwork (and others) lost it in the 2nd half. Schofield... We need to bounce back against BR. Are we mentally strong enough? Its a big test.

the biggest decision that went against town on saturday cost us the game.. how he didn't send him off i don't know!!! lets hope we get a homer at least once this season as we've had a very raw deal off the officials this season!!!

Agreed yes it is a big test AndyG. Your thoughts make sense and are a levelheaded approach to recent events. However, I think AR & the team have more gumption (there's an old fashioned term) than perhaps we give them credit for. There is hope for us yet, especially if we, the fans, give the guys a bit of a shout on Saturday. Although our league position is poor, a play-off spot is still not beyond reach in a closely fought (yet low-quality) division. I may be (just a tad) biased, but I still think we can do well this year. Cheers, I.

i think we will beat BR, but then we need to cos we wont be getting much away from home, except 3 and 4 nil defeats.
if we lose on saturday and struggle over christmas uncle ken will have to dip into those pockets of his and back AR to keep us in the league....
