So, is it just me, or is there a general feeling of well-being on this website?
I mean, there can't be many times after three straight league defeats (with so many goals conceded) that morale has been so high with Town fans.
Disagree?
Well, yes, the inevitable questions HAVE been asked - should the board sack the manager (there's even a poll).
But there's also been threads about 'best away days', talk of fans travelling to the Birmingham City game (sometimes with thousands of miles to go) and footage of some classic Town encounters finding their way onto You Tube.
You'd have thought we'd have battered Leeds... not the other way round.
So, my question... if you are you feeling happy is it because...
a) It's Christmas?
b) Defeat to Leeds was almost inevitable considering the first team suspensions?
c) There's a new DATM website to play with and, well, like a new flat it's quite exciting at first?
or d) The "Billy Blue Nose" incident has brought a smile to your face? Even though you know, deep down, it was pretty bad.
I think the latter.
Whatchafink?

I genuinly think we're back on track and have been since Hartlepool at home, I think the last 3 defeats have been mainly unfortunate, and our performances from those games probably deserved 3/4 points. I think we'll do well in the next four games, if we don't I'll be back to feeling how we did after Tranmere away.

I do prefer this layout of MB to the old one - sorry - as you can follow threads easier and it a chronological order. Also we've got a spellckecking facility on here so I can actually make sense of some posts I probably wouldn't have previously.

I think it was the Billy Bremner incident. Putting one over on them in their backyard, absolute classic. Had loads of messages from fans of other clubs who wished they'd done it. Perhaps L666s fans might reflect on why they're not hated, but Loathed and despised ;D

I am feeling happy despite defeat cause I got the buxzz for football back not had it since play off semi against barnsley. I am looking forward to every match and wanting to go to every away game win lose or draw. Plus the players look like they are giving there all at every game which is also a boost compared with earlier in the season

The reason people are happy is: 1.It`s christmas 2.We got a new board to play with. Yes town being garbadge over the last 2 games and town let in 8 goals but i feel town will get 7 maybe 12 points over the xmas period. Will ken back the manager come january because the defence is tosh and we need wallwork, jevons signed up permanently.

I'd rather put up with the missus talking utter crap on a saturday than watch that tripe Town serve up at away games!

I think it's a bit of all 4.
Plus we haven't played badly at home for a while. A poor defeat on Saturday will probably change the mood on here.
The signs are very mixed at the moment.

Well, all very interesting.
I was sure people were feeling rather happy - and that's strange coming off the 4-0 defeat to Leeds.
Thanks for your thoughts.
(Numbers, my sincere sympathy. I stubbed my toe getting out of bed once in the Nineties. It wrecked).
