Just watched first half, we got slated for the statue thing and they showed that interview with the little sh*t, I just wanted to punch him the little w@nker.

We didn't get slated. The guy(s) who did it got slated. Having seen the goals again theres no doubt Smithies had a mare with both the first 2 but was unlucky his point blank stops for the 3rd and 4th went to their players and not our missing defence. And it wasn't Mirfin who did that crap clearence straight to their guy for the 1st as some have said.It was Wallwork

"theres no doubt Smithies had a mare with both the first 2" A bit harsh regarding first goal. Placed right in the corner out of Smithies reach. The back four parted like the red sea. Apt really for where they were playing

It was hard to tell with the up close camera angle they went for!
What is the point of focusing only on the ten feet around the ball, I don't even think Smithies came into shot when they showed the replay of the first goal!

Apt really for where they were playing I thought the ball went thru Smithie's hands for the first goal and although he was unsighted by the defence , that suggests they didn't part like the red sea. Its clearing our lines that we seem unable to execute correctly. The Leeds game wasn't the first one in which it happened, or didn't happen as the case may be. As per statue-gate, then the majority of non leeds footy fans see it as quite a funny incident and wish they had thought of doing it. Did they mention the fact that Leeds shouldn't have had 11 players on the pitch in the second half either??

Surprised they used so much time discussing the 'statue incident', even showing the bloody thing, just giving more publicity to those who did it, which was the whole point in doing it!
Wise should have kept out of it, any self respecting manager would not have commented, but that's the person he is, a nasty little tosser just inciting more bother in the future.
90% of non Leeds fans would have applauded it no doubt after what that scum have done in the past.

I was raging at the little tosser when he said football doesn't went these type of people.
This is the guy who broke a team mates jaw while he was ASLEEP ! Does football want THAT type of person?

It was a well placed shot and smithies got down to it well but then allowed it to bounce straight over both his hands. It was poor goalkeeping from the kid and id bet hes very dissapointed with it. They never mentioned the ref bottling the sending off at all. Wise has tried to imply the statue thing fired his team up but the way we outfought them and out played them in the 1st half proves what gash that is. As I see it they took control only when our heads dropped when we found ourselves 2-0 down even though theyd only had 2 efforts on goal despite us dominating up to then (both of which have to go down as keeper ricks). We lost that game on Friday when the prats at the FA didn't overturn that ridiculous glennon red card.

Well as a paid up member of the 'keepers' union, I don't blame young Alex at all. No doubt some of our lot will boo him if he plays again

.... All too often attacking players have had too much room and time on the ball which gives them the option of a well aimed strike. Our defenders should be closing them down quicker.... let's hope the defence don't let glennon down tomorrow...

I thought Smithies was in part at fault for the second, although Mirfin shouldn't have allowed his man to get across him, maybe the cross could have been cut out etc At the end of the day Beckford got a 6 yard tap in, he should never have been allowed to get into that position
The first was a really tricky save because of the bounce it took, if he'd made it would have a been a very good one. I blame Wallwork more for not putting his foot through the ball when he was under no real pressure and could have cleared our line. No excuses from a senior pro
Also why did no one close down Douglas, he had loads of time to control the ball before shooting with no one near him.

Collins just stood looking at him and realised a few seconds too late he should have been closing him down.

andy townsend and that muppet goalkeeper going on like leeds are unstoppable, they werent even anygood. Then they went on about that penalty for doncaster and how bad a decision it was but because townsend and nigel martyn were on they decided to miss out the fact that kisishev esacped the most obvious booking in the history of football to aviod being sent off
