Me neither, in fact it is quite funny when they think they are a bigger club than us. You should see their faces when I reel off our trophies and point out that they have won the same as Oxford University and less than The Royal Engineers Differentiate bigger club for me Some say its the success of a club Some say its the history of a club Some say its how long a club has been in the top flight even though they have not won anything Some say its the fan base of a club I would say a big club is a club who has a big fan base and can attract the most supporters imo To measure trophies, league positions and league titles is to measure a clubs success, not how big it is. The down fall of our City was to have two football clubs and split the support of our City, had we had one club i think things would have been far different. Some say its the success of a club Huddersfield 3 times League champions and 1 F A Cup win. Bradford never champions and 1 F A Cup win. Some say its the history of a club Huddersfield more years in top 2 flights than bottom 2. Bradford more years in bottom 2 flights than top 2.Some say its how long a club has been in the top flight even though they have not won anything Huddersfied 32 years in top flight. Bradford 16 years in top flight. Some say its the fan base of a club Bradford do have a much larger fan base but Huddersfield get the larger attendances, even WITH Bradfords massaged figures.I would say a big club is a club who has a big fan base and can attract the most supporters imo Agreed, see above

i consider fan base,tradition/history among the main factors of judging a clubs size.i think we edge the ointment on that one.think park avenue fans might have made the transition accross the city by now viv its been a while since they were in the league

vivian is quite right when she states the downfall of Bradford was to have two clubs. BPA were always The Bradford club, ask any old timer from that city and they'll tell you that "The Avenue" were the club of the Bradford people.

Two clubs in the same City getting 20,000 crowds and both hating each other. The Stan fans hated us with venom and many would never consider following City after they departed the League and subsequently folded. Many of the Stan fans turned to L33ds and followed them rather than follow City. The hatred was immense and a fan of Bradford City built a chimney at Clayton on the Bradford to Queensbury railway line which is no longer there, with a replica of the FA Cup built into the stone and commemorating our win in 1911.The chimney still stands to this day and is a grade2 listed building. I have been to the last 3 friendlies with BPA and the Stans hate us with a passion to this day and my father in law is a Stan fan and he remembers the hatred back in the day and still has it. If Bradford had just one football club at the turn of the last century, then that club would have had crowds in excess of 40,000 and i think things would have been far different.

You'd be the only club in the Fourth Division claiming 80,000 gates? Tupper that is so yesterday!!! We put the official number of people who came through the gates last season on the official attendance figures, as we have this season, it was two seasons ago that we added those who did not turn up. Last season you averaged 600 fans more than us, yet you sold 4,000 more season tickets than us.Taking in to account you had far more visiting away fans, our highest being 800 and yours been 4,000 we probably had more home supporters than you last season. Your club even admitted they had been giving out attendances of fans who had not turned up, so stop pissing in the wind as it is coming back and hitting you smack in the face :iconlol:

That is your only argument against a team that has lent you our THIRD choice keeper. Pretty embarrasing !!

so stop pissing in the wind as it is coming back and hitting you smack in the face A bit like when your lot tried desperately to get an inbred tag attached to our club, only for it to be pointed out to them that Bradford has more genetic abnormalities due to inbreeding than any other place in Britain.

Nope never met you just making an educated guess given where you are from. Wouldn't want to either to be honest, you seem like a very sad individual who spends most of her/his time on other teams message boards trying to get bites while scratching your testicle - but generally failing due to having no ammo as a) you lack intelligence and b) your football club is a laughing stock of all its 'rivals'. Put an advert in the lonely hearts column or something Viv, think you need a man in your life darling. ps. If you are here to see who your next signing is then you are wasting your time, we don't need to get rid of anyone at the moment.

Your average attendance this season is around 8,000 Earl you have just lied through your teeth to try and make you look to have better attendance figures by a large number by coming out with absolute bollax like that. The club do not have to give Bradford Council attendance figures at all and to say our average is 8,000 is a complete load of bollax. As you have access to this information, work for Bradford Council, obviously come from Cleckheaton and are a Down fan, then i am sure when i speak to the head of H&S at BC in the morning it won't take long to track you down. Divulging any council information in public and what you are privy to is taken very seriously indeed, even if it is a load of crap :shake:
