So if we win tomorrow that proves that the players have a decent level of raw talent and its the training thats at fault and the coaching staff should therefore be sacked?

He's only getting his excuses in before the game, just in case we have another inept performance.
Whether they train or not, wouldn't think it'd make much difference, could even be they play better tomorrow!

Simple priorities. And at Davy Enterprises Ltd the Giants are far more important than Town.
Today is just one more day nearer getting rid of the man

I would guess they have been training at the indoor academy on leeds road.

why couldn't the egg chasers train there if AR wanted to use the stadium? Maybe its cos there isn't any mud for them to roll about in. After Town and the council generously paid for the thing, youd think the least the giants could do was use it when we ask.

I didn't think either team was allowed to train on the pitch. How long have the Giants been using it for training?

..... and you try your best to support Uncle Ken and get behind his ambiguously ambitious plans... you let him gain your confidence and what does he do to you..... he craps in your dufflebag when you're not looking......

I thought AR said that Town couldn't train at the "Barn" at Leeds Road Playing Fields as the Giants had pre-booked it - but I could be wrong. I'm sure they aren't allowed to train on the pitch. They'll have to ask KD if they can use his new "Zone".

yeah, theyl have been training at the indoor at leeds road. They use the Univerity gym a fair bit too, saw matty young, arron hardy and robbie williams there a couple of weeks back. Think the use Soccer city at waterloo too if they are desperate

'If they are desperate' FFS this is a professional football club, not the Dog & Gun Sunday morning league (appologise if such exists) If that is true than that is a Mickey Mouse set up

Well, i know the previous owner of soccer city (when it was skylark) and he still runs the day to day activities of it and they have an agreement that town can use it if they need to on a morning as it can be opened up to a near full pitch size.
Tis a bit of a mess like i agree, but what else can we do when we have two teams using the facilities of one!
Btw i think training indorrs is a total waste anyway, the way the game is played on synthetic surfaces is totally different to outdoors. I know theres not another option when the ground is frosty....unless we have undersoil heating!
Coincidentally like the Galpharm!, but we cant use that obviously, it might fuck up the "Giants 60% turf"

neither town or the giants train at the staduim other than the gym.
The giants have used the sports barn since it was open and then they use the rugby pitch on leeds road playing fields for there outside work.
why coukdnt town train in the afternoons or vice versa and share the barn???
or would that ruin there spare time in the afternoons?? that they have everyday when they finish at two.

I wouldn't let a professional sportsman train at Soccer City. Last time I played there the turf was coming up in a lot of places. The Barn facility was supposedly built for HTFC academy. If the Giants are out of season and given the state of the current weather I don't see why the Giants couldn't alter their training schedule slightly to let Town use the Barn through this current cold snap.
Considering Town have had games moved in successive seasons because of Giants games it does seem very much like that Town are getting the thin end of the joint synergies.

Isn't there a new Lord of the Rings film he could be auditioning for?
