It has taken me some time to find the new site.
What I have noticed is that things seem to be quite on the Mr Davy front? After a few wins are you all satisfied that things are going in the right direction? All I can say after watching a match that did not light a fire under me and god we could have done with some warm today is that we are still far from out of the woods.
Central defence was missing as was mid-field, poor Holdsworth looked lost at times and Glennon seems as if he has no communication with the defenders, either that or he has lost his voice.
Overall we got the three points but as far as a football demonstration goes it fell way way short. Mr Davy promised investment and commitment into getting our team back in with a chance of pushing for promotion, let us hope he keeps his word.
Do not like to stir things up but it is fast approaching the egg chasing season how many new signings have they got. Also I wonder if the new score board will be in place for the start of the Giants season?

"After a few wins are you all satisfied that things are going in the right direction?" I'm sure we had lost 3 in a row before today. I think people gave up on the davy thing when pearson went to derby. P.S. Nicely copy n pasted from the rivals site

I think the Davy situation will flare up one way or another during and after the transfer window, seems Fartown are still signing players and fairness dictates we should now get a fair crack of the whip, but will we?

Well there was AR's comments on Radio Leeds about the 'politics' behind not being able to use the indoor training facilities at the barn as the Giants had booked it.
Its this comment that made my ears prick up!!!!!
Can anyone on here eleborate??
Anyone in the know??

Bubbling under the surface is more accurate. Town players and staff are obviously second class citizens at the ground. We are in a poor position in a poor league & our own chairman doesn't seem to give an Eartha. Davy Out.

nothing has changed in my eyes. for this club to progress and achieve success we NEED a chairman who concentrates on ONE club. there are still no doubt many problems at the club, but i guess most town fans, including myself, have just really lost hope of anything really happening at the club.

Raybray... you found us Regarding Davy.... I couldn't understand his refusal of the Pearson bid..... maybe he does actually believe that he can take town forward... which also seems strange when we played the first part of the season with a very weak squad which has left us in a position where promotion this season iseems highly unlikely..... I still don't trust him... but he's all we've got

There are signs of investment in the team. I doubt people have suddenly changed their minds but maybe it's focused KD's.

Couldn't agree more. When January comes we will soon see. If AR can get the funds for the players he wants, maybe faith will be (briefly) restored in Davy. If not, questions will start to be asked again.

Maybe Sean Jarvis can elloborate why the Giants get priority despite being out of season Not very neighbourly from our "stablemates"!

I think for most fans the light at the end of the tunnel was finally snuffed out when the pearson deal was rejected. Basically we're stuck with him , stuck being 2nd fiddle to his crappy rugby club, and stuck being run to finance his KSDL plans until he finishes getting what he wants from the club and sells it, or he drops dead. Until then all anyone can do is put as much pressure on him as they can be arsed to or join the other 3 or 4 thousand and lose interest all together. Or just turn a blind eye and get behind the lads of course.

It's odd really because you would have expected the Pearson episode to turn the fans against Davy. Instead it seems to have administered a huge dose of resignation and disinterest. Davy is going to have to do something pretty imaginative in January to rekindle enough interest in the club to shake the club out of its stagnation.
