think he just had an off day.Dead ball situations are one of his main strengths and at leeds last week he was very good with corners and free kicks so ill put it down to a bad day at the office for him

First time I have seen him play. Free kicks were poor, thought he looked a solid player. Strong and mobile unlike Skarz, put himself about and he let the winger know he was in for a tough day.

Our two centre backs should have stayed at home, they both played poorly, thats usual for Clark but Mirfin just had a bad day.

We still need two or three player, I think we will have done ok if we get one when the transfer window opens. A centre back is essential.

It was interesting to see williams and skars on the pitch at end gave us an option of two defenders who acn do forward and switch with no problem. could be an intersting situation if thy both start sat

jesus RW has just come back from injury give the lad a chance it was a long lay off he had with no pre season will need a few more games yet before we see the real robbie

rb is a top player but with input from our ace coaches will he still be one in a few months?clarke and mirf were decent players but have gone backwards under our coaches,old argument i know but it still grates me little has been done about it.

for me the quality of the free-kicks are NOT the problem, although the quality of them yesterday were poor. it's the lack of aerial presence to execute the free-kicks and corners that is the problem. beyond boothy can you really say that anyone else in terms of aerial ability are good enough to score from these opportunities.

for the record, RW WILL become a firm fans fav datm. no doubt about that.

weres all this proof that the coaches are crap mabye the players are crap the coaches are the to teach the tatics and formations to the players once there over the white line its down to the players one of the coaches has got the qualifications to coach in the premier league how many other coaches in our league can coach in the premier league

proof is with yorath coaching town were pushing for play offs most of the time,without his input jacko struggled,as did the players,the same players by the way who looked yards better under yorath,you want proof,look back at the league standings,like it or not yoraths input was a massive factor for town and jacko,since these two coaches have been training the likes of clarke ,mirfin,schofield etc they have gone backwards,jeez at one stage villa were intrested in clarke at a million,how much for him now?look at the way we played under jacko/yorath ,decent footy,when yorath left/got ill,the football got terrible,jacko gets sack but the football at times is as bad if not worse,i think more proof to my theory will come if ritchie gets his own coach in .

no i meant own coaches,he didnt appoint the two hes got,and under yoraths coaching we got promoted and a nr miss the yr after, also the general football was better to watch,the players who had so much promise now are going backwards,maybe they just are not good enough as you say but there are too many coincidences for me.
