PLEASE COMMENT ON WHAT NEEDS DOING DIFFERENTLY IN FUTURE MAN OF THE MATCH POLLS. It was a freezing cold afternoon, and the attendance of 8,118 showed that some fans had chosen Christmas shopping over Town vs Bristol Rovers. The standard of football was very poor but it was the three points that mattered in the end. But which players stood out - who was your Man of The Match? 72 voters told us their's. Well the results showed that most of you were impressed most of all by new signing - [glow=red,2,300]Robbie Williams.[/glow] It appears that the left back put in a good performance at full back even if his set pieces weren't what they're cracked up to be. Robbie Williams picked up just under 40% of your votes. The next best player on the pitch according to the vote was [glow=red,2,300]Malvin Kamara.[/glow] He was constantly hacked at by the Rovers defence and was his usual pacey and creative self, if not quite in top form. Malvin got nearly 15% of the vote. Phil Jevons picked up just under 10% of the vote, capping his performance with the winning goal. Andy Booth and Nathan Clarke picked up 8% of the votes a piece putting in decent performances. Matt Glennon got 7% of the votes, Ronnie Wallwork around 6%, Andy Holdsworth and Danny Schofield 3% each and Mirfin and Skarz picked up just over 1% a head. ResultsTotal Votes - 72 (100%) Robbie Williams - 28 (38.8%) Malvin Kamara - 10 (13.8%) Phil Jevons - 7 (9.7%) Andy Booth - 6 (8.3%) Nathan Clarke - 6 (8.3%) Matt Glennon - 5 (6.9%) Ronnie Wallwork - 4 (5.5%) Andy Holdsworth - 2 (2.7%) Danny Schofield - 2 (2.7%) David Mirfin - 1 (1.3%) Joe Skarz - 1 (1.3%) So in the three matches that we've voted on Robbie Williams has picked up two Man of The Match awards, and Matt Glennon one. Thanks for reading (or did ya skip straight to the results ), please comment on what needs changing in future Man Of The Match polls. Cheers, Andy.

Nowt needs changing Andy, but although you almost certainly have better things to do, are you keeping running totals and/or a "league table" of Man of the Match placings? I.

I'm not doing yet, but I'll do one in Microsoft Word, they're all in my memory now but after a couple more games they'll be forgotten! I'll draw one up now, thanks for the suggestion.

Great job Andy! Could I have done a better job?... ...No Thanks! Well much of the stuff I'm doing is on recommendation, eg. keeping the size of the "report" down and leaving the vote open longer! And thanks again for packing your vote in, we both thought to do a M.O.T.M vote, great minds think alike! ;D

Andy, i'd recommend keeping the MOTM poll open till Monday evening. A lot of people access DATM from work and may not access it from home over the weekend. Do you want to take on responsibility for future DATM MOM polls. Best to have one person doing it then we know which poll is the "official" one then we can sticky it and close it when necessary.

I'll leave them open longer then, I'd like to take responsibility for future MOTM polls, yes. That'd be great to make it official and sticky it! Thanks. Andy.
