The bike ride nearly killed him Hopefully this 'stroll' will be more forgiving C'mon give what you can to a great cause. If 50 people joined him, and they all raised £50 or so and it turns into a decent effort from everyone .....then into the South Stand to cheer the lads on with 1000+ others

I fancy doing this, I only live a 10 minute drive from the stadium but could still raise a decent amount. Walking to the game then partying in the south stand, never thought I'd be doing that this season Give the whole board a pat on the back after some of the news we've had today Sean!

Would love to walk to the match, But after years of abusing my body with booze i reckon i would have to set off in the next 10 minutes if i'm to make the kick off

It seems I'm doing the walk too despite only saying I might join Sean on his walk :iconlol: www.htafc.com/page/KeepItUpYAA/0,,10312~2031744,00.html All the money goes to the same kitty though so any collection is worthwhile....cash in the collection or sponsor him online via his justgiving page. My sponsor form is eeking cash out of all my work colleagues in Bradford....bless them

Which way you going once you get past Ainley Top? I usually walk to the match so I'll look out for you and try and throw some money at you...

Mids, your head is too easy a target. The only man I know who needed a custom made bike helmet................. ;D Take it easy up the hill from Elland to Ainley Top - we don't want any mishaps with smj1 - he does a half decent job ;D

Dont bother with the bypass the views of the landfill site as not that fetching. If I was you guys I would bear left at Elland up the big hill to the top of Rastrick and then onto fixby and drop down onto Bradford Road and through. There are a few boozers that way too where smj1 can wait for you to catch him up. All the best have a good'un.

Mulling over a rival route from Lightclifffe through Bailiff Bridge and Briggas - we could possibly meet up at Bradley Bar/Fixby but I guess your route will be up to Ainley Top and past Da Sandro's etc. Being sounding out a few others from this way before going live with it - I'd look pretty ridiculous and frankly sad by myself!! What's your plans for Stockport?(slightly off this topic!)

Right then; alternative route. 11am - depart Sun Inn, Lightcliffe 1110 - Bailiff Bridge 1150 - Thornton Square, Brighouse Then up Huddersfield Road to meet up with Sean's posse at Fixby/Bradley Bar roundabout. Town colours preferred; all welcome. First time I'll have walked to a Town game; my Dad used to walk every week from Briggas. So come on Briggas Town fans, let's have a small army marching up Huddersfield Road on Saturday lunchtime!! (PM me if you're interested and we'll ensure we do not leave without someone!)

Anyone on the route from Meltham to the stadium could always spare a contribution for Shawsie and myself on Saturday :-)
