think thats a bit harsh his hands are tied when it comes to budgets, as our chairman prefers chasing eggs.
looks like we could fall for another diversion tactic to avert the blame from KD.
I think after finishing 10th this season and we sign the loanees in January with strengthening in the devence with at least two players, we could mount a realistic campaign next season. injuries and Boothy's knees aside.

Sounds like the Board are finally being realistic.... the squad was never good enough at the start of the season... he is changing it round, but he still has a bit of work to do.... so, if he's allowed to continue then YES next season we should be up there... but as for this season it would be a bit of a miracle if we made the play-offs (but Ritchie has pulled that one off before)

If he can sort out the defence and get them to click; natrual talent (Williams, Mirfin, Nathan Clarke) but don't gel as a unit at this moment
Buy Jevons, any successful team needs a 25 goal a season striker and PJ fits the bill
Also we need to see how the Worthy / Holdsworth pairing goes in midfield, on paper it looks very solid. Collins is hopefully only having second season syndrome and will be firing next year
Looking at it we have a very good chance in what is a very poor league IMO, this season isn't over yet.
Let's face it we're due a run of form

Disagree as AR is a professional football manager personal pride will be important. Would he really want to one day move on from us with a record of say P100 W30 D20 L50. I think not.

Let's face it we're due a run of form I agree its not a quality league and everyone seems to be beating each other. My head says we will be a serious contender next season, but my heart tells me that sooner or later we are going to hit form and some teams are going to take a hammering and we will be there or abouts come May time. This transfer window is so important as if AR can get a decent centre-half as well as tie up PJ and Wally than that dream takes a step closer.
