just wondering do people think we will seel out our allocation of 2,174 on new years day im making the trip myself but just wondering on people's thoughts.

i was going to go but after geting stuffed 4 nil at leeds and suffereing complete humilation (i have lived in leeds the majority of my life) i've decided to not bother.

I was at the Leeds game and for 45 minutes we were the best team and 4-0 was a freak result. I have also lived in Leeds for many years although born in Hull and followed Man United all over for a good number of years (season ticket and all that) so I know what arses the local knuckle scrapers can be, but apart from a few playful comments, those that went to the game said Town looked good in the first 45 and did not take the p*ss.

Difficult to call really as New Years day will see many to ill to travel far

Saying that my Manc friends have supplied me with 3 free tickets for the United v B'ham game, so kids and I are heading West for the afternoon

Freak or not (and I agree about 3-1 would have been a fair reflection) the trouble is the L**ds beating is the second worse defeat ever by Town in that derby

The biggest L**ds defeat coming something like 60 years ago. So pretty much the worse in living memory

A lot of Town fans are still licking their wounds after the game, throw in that Xmas is a expensive time, Forest tickets are £20 plus (from memory) and Town have been awful away on half a dozen occassions this season (already) and I don't think many will fancy it against a strong Forest team

I may end up going because my girlfriend fancies getting a new ground but that's the only real motivation ... daft football fan logic!
