i hear from a good source that he asked ricthie for a loan move but was told no as he is in his plans. !!!!
quite strange......i hope not!
surely he is the type of player you;d be looking to get out on loan to gain some experience.

I can see why he'd want a loan, he made 30 apps last season and has barely figured this year.
I think Racchi getting a place ahead of him on Saturday would have been hard for him to stomach
I wonder if Mirfield Blue's Andy Holdsworth rumour has legs then. In which case AR wants to keep Young because he's set to lose one midfielder as it is in January - or am I putting two and two together and gettting five!

Young's problem is that hes what, 24 now?or something like that anyway, and hes not established himself, taken his chance when hes been given it, etc, so don't really know why we still have him. If he hasnt made a place in the team his own by that age, then obviously he isnt good enough

He's just 22 but seems like he's been here much longer. The window looks interesting with Wallwork and Jevons as potential arrivals and rumours about players leaving who knows? You would expect the likes of Hardy and Young to be offered up unless AR sees something we don't, Beckett and Brandon look like prime candidates as they are not regulars an more. But, the squad needs sorting and we may have to see someone go that we'd rather not, good fun though.

Matt Youngs biggest problem is, "He is not good enough". Simple as that, also he is not on his own three or four more should follow him out of HTFC.
If it was me I would be looking to off load the Clark's, Schofield and Holdsworth. Cadders is not doing great either, spends more time on the couch than the field of play.

Tom's got to be given time to settle back into the first team before we pass judgement. He is the better of the 2 Clarkes IMO and my daughter also fancies him

Did Tom not play for one of the England Under somethings in the last 18 months unlike his brother?
HT you are right about Tom only being a teenager, I think many of us forget that at times.

The times Tom has played I have not been impressed. In fact one game either last season or the season before he had to be substituted in the first half. He was at right back and he was having a stinker. Others have said that they think his position is in mid-field, I have not seen him play in that position. They could be right.

So if Holdsworth is going where is he going to? Do you read the other posts? Stoke City!

Toms an ok centre back. Not brilliant but ok.Has potential. Not yet as good as his brother but only because Nathan is physically that bit stronger in the air. As a full back Tom is a flaming disaster and the times hes been asked to play there hes looked bloody awfull. Had a good (half) game in midfield at Chelsea that time but couldn't keep it up in the following games.
