we had this conversation earlier, but you obviously weren't aware.
brown has 159 goals to his name, and glazzard has 150, but we were unsure how many boothy has. it would be great for him to best the all-time goalscoring chart at town, but i think it's too late for him to mount a serious challenge. :-(

let boothy take penaltys then to add goals that is something actually. has anyone ever seen boothy take a penalty in his career? now that is something i would love to see. so long as he scores... ;D

boothy has 137 town goals.......no where near george brown 159..which is a great shame..
p.s i have a gut feeling felt boothy once took a penalty in a shoot out.....and missed...
at the old ground in the ldv / autoglass trophy..

It could be the slowest runn up for a pen in history ;D The fact No one has seen him take apen suggests hes not onfident with um and I would not suggest havin him take um plus we never get pens any way

As much as i love boothy, it would be the longest penalty in history!
In the penalty shoot out at cardiff it went edwards, schofield, carss, fowler...and would have been yates, (sodje if he hadn't been carried off)....for a reason! boothy was further down!
Could he take the first headed penalty in history?

On the Boothy Legend DVD he says he was 6th in line against Mansfield in the Play-offs. That might have been our only chance!
23 goals to go; maybe he'll have a slight chance if he stays first choice for this season and next and manages to carry on playing a bit-part role after that...

Boothy has never taken a penalty in a shoot out. The only Town player to miss in a shoot out at Leeds Road was Iwan Roberts against Blackpool (Autoglass) in 1992.
