Thanks for the highlights. Got offered a ticket last night but had already made plans for today that involved taking the misses out Never mind as we are still going on New Years Day to see them play Birmingham

If that penalty incident doesn't qualify as the dumbest tackle attempt of the season, I'll be interested to see what wins that particular award !!!

Very harsh on Everton IMO who played well by all accounts. Giggsy was looking for that I'm afraid Looks like Ronnie is rubbing off on them with that particular skill. Hell of a first goal though Yes a bit of a scouting mission so to speak & from what I saw of the Blues against Bolton last night on MOTD we have a chance of getting something as they were appalling.

Definitely harsh on Everton in general, but sticking a leg out backwards like that in the box was pretty stupid.

I agree he was stupid and something you don't do at Old Trafford as the ref's always bottle them decisions.
Saying that Town have not had a penalty this season and I'm sure we have to go back around 30 games to our last one being awarded. Seems that the lads had two stonewall penalty appeals turned down yesterday.

Wonder who would be our first choice penalty taker at the moment. Will we ever find out?

My guess would be Williams. United get a lot of dubious penalties at OT but that can't be described as one of them. I doubt even a wily old pro like Giggs was 'looking' for the everton kid to stick his leg out backwards and leg him up!
