We usually listen to the commentary on the away games via Home FM, but find sometimes the signal where we live is poor. The on-line option never seems to work and Radio Leeds always seems to have L**ds on.
Any suggestions or can you listen to the other games through Radio Leeds (we dont have DAB Digital).

I have invested in a DAB radio.
I still can't listen to Town away games unless they are on 774 and I spend the afternoon in the car or laying on the bed listening to the (analogue) radio alarm clock.
Anyone else have trouble picking up Radio Leeds' DAB service?
I now live in Barnsley, but would have thought that the new wonderful digital age would enable me to pick up a signal from 15 miles away !

Funny you should say that tommycowan as I did have a DAB, but it struggled to pick up more than a dozen stations (hardly any of them worth listening to) at home, so I took it into work (Leeds City Centre) and even their it could not pick up Radio Aire or Galaxy.

DAB usually picks up stations that are broadcast in your area. Living in Barnsley I would suspect that you local DAB station will be BBC Radio Sheffield. Home FM do not have the internet commentary rights for Town games hence you will not be able to pick up the commentary on their online broadcasts.

Do you have to have that picture of Old Trafford defacing a town message board. I would have thought this website would be free from plastic manc glory hunters. In my opinion this is even worse than being a L***s fan, at least they're from the right side of the Pennines.

PG, Radio L***s have the internet rights and as far as I know they charge you for tuning in on the net.
MB, i'd support the Mancs over L***s any day of the week ;D

Get youself an extermal DAB aerial for your radio is one sugestion, I can get radio Leeds perfect from Dewsbury although cant at parents house which is in Thornhill.. pretty poor that really Nice one! I had not thought of something so obvious, I guess some kind of external aerial is the way forward, looks like a trip to Maplins is on the cards. I have been chewing over buying one of those add ons that lets DAB play off an existing hi-fi, so if Maplins have the kit I need than looks like this maybe a runner. Thanks for the suggestion.

In my opinion this is even worse than being a L***s fan, at least they're from the right side of the Pennines. A lot of thought went into that eh? As someone whose dad was rugby league mad and never took him to a football match, but had a Manchester born Uncle who was United to the core and took me to my first match in the 70's at home to Liverpool (United lost by the way) and many many more afterwards maybe this will explain my allegiance. That had me hooked on football by the way from that day on. I have followed United all over the place from the days they were sh*t in the 70's and 80's so hardly a glory supporter. I'm an adopted Town supporter and my kids and I have held season tickets for 5 - 6 years now and apart from friendly banter with H0L4 (who seems a decent fella by the way), I don't feel I ram Man United down the other posters throats. Plastic supporter my arse, its a long way home when you have been dicked away 4-0 at places like West Brom and 6-0 Ipswich
