Yeah me mate,it has been mentioned on here in the past, and i'm sure Davy said we were having a new scoreboard but it seems to have fallen through, the tannoy is absolute pants,be better giving that Paul Clarke a toilet roll to shout into.

My guess is the new scoreboard will arrive at the same time as the rugby League season.

Why do people keep going on about things that will cost the club money?

Why do people keep going on about things that will cost the club money? So Ken Davy will be taking his place on the subs bench soon

but where would KSDL's £230,000 annual profit come from if they spent money on a new scoreboard?

Maybe our chairman should refuse to pay all the rent until the landlord provides a decent tannoy and screen!!

Maybe a question for the next Developement association meeting? Do you call it a scoreboard or a screen sir?

Why do people keep going on about things that will cost the club money? Why would a scoreboard cost the football club any money?

Why would a scoreboard cost the football club any money? maintenance costs? so £0 then... ;D Whats that got to do with the football club? HTFC is a tenant in a property that it has 0% ownership of. The landlord (KSDL) would surely be responsible for ground improvements, with the cost recovered out of the regular service charge.

I know they have had various quotes on the scoreboard and are awaiting conformation, I hear it's going to be slightly larger than the present one and much more advanced. As for the Tannoy system this has been upgraded many times since the stadium opened, last summer was in fact the last time it was upgraded and is a vast improvement. The only problem is that they never get the levels right as they never test them while the stadium is full also the acoustics and design of the stadium let them down!
