Has the club thought about advertising the season tickets in neighboring towns local papers, as a lot of local teams supporters aren't happy about how their clubs are being run/position they are in, IE; HALIFAX, could go out of the conference. BRADFORD, in bottom division. L**DS, not happy with Master Bates stewardship / high prices for 3rd tier football BARNSLEY, unhappy over ticket allocations for cup / cup run papering over the cracks. WAKEFIELD, no team to speak of and support split between TOWN, L**DS, BARNSLEY
And although most of us don't understand them, there are a lot of "floaters" out there. This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to pick up some disillusioned fans from our local rivals and get them hooked;D

Angela (forgot surname) always has an article about Town in the reporter series (Dewsbury, Batley etc.). I'm sure she will mention it.
In addition. an advert away from the sports pages would be great.

I suppose a good way to get the message farther afield is on local radio, such was Real Radio. I guess it is also upto us fans to get the word out and in this day and age, it easy to pass a link to the town website

I can spread the word around Epsom, but I think people round here are more interested in Chelsea for some reason.

Anyone seen the Leeds season ticket advertisments on the side of Huddersfield buses ??
Can't see why any Huddersfield person who is currently not a season ticket holder at Leeds would buy one next season.
The McAlpine Stadium will be the place to be...

what buses though,if its the arriva ones (i think its them anyway) its cos they go to leeds,if not, then theres no real reason for it-dont see why people in hudds would spend about £400 to watch that waste of space up the motorway wen they cud watch us for £100 instead

Regarding the buses that have that filth posted down the side offering the L**ds season tickets and boxes. I drive for First and yes there are buses with that down the side. This afternoon a certain Inspector asked me to change my crappy, Sh*t double decker for a smaller bus. In fact it was a cracking bus, good heater, easier to drive. I took one look at the side of it and told the Inspector " There is sh*t smeared down the side of it, there is no way I can drive that bus.
So I had to drive the piece of sh*t double decker for the rest of the afternoon.
But I think I proved my point.

Just as an aside I have emailed Soccer AM the poster and see if we get any exposure from it. Now would have been good time to have them visit the stadium and shown round, it could have got plugged then.
