Ok, I'll be the first to say it, how does it not just piss out of the bottom? Looking at the vid, it seems to work on the same principle that you could fill a bath if you pushed a hose from the 'other side' of the plug hole to push the plug out of the way. Then if you consider that the little disk you can see is basically 'the size of the container' (ie, like if your bath had a plug hole filling the entire bottom), then if you removed your hose from the other side, the liquid would simply push it back down and seal up the gap...although I would have thought it may need to be weighted or something....or magnetized and pulled back to seal the cup by a magnetic bit on the dispensor?

Magnets and contamination of plastic in beer. Great combination. But hey least it's quicker.

We just turn the taps on in our house.

More importantly, before the contraption* was invented that means that the bubbles in your lager** only come from the bottom surface of the glass instead of from all the sides as well - did lager look different??
*The purposely imperfect etching that you get in the bottom of a glass.
** I don't drink lager.

I'll bet there's been some novel uses for them glasses once they're empty...
The Millbridge bus might want to get a few to avoid splash stains...

That is amazing. I think once the nozzle is pulled out it pulls the plastic into place to seal it. Could be the future of drinks dispensing and the end of barmen!

Does it have a non-return valve fitted to the bottom so fluids can get in but not out?
